Description

The Marcy Squat Rider Machine XJ-6334 is a light and compact squat machine that does not require weights. The Squat Rider Machine uses three resistance bands under the seat to provide resistance during your squats. To add resistance, simply hook the bands under the seat and to drop resistance, unhook the bands as necessary. As opposed to free form squats with or without weights, the handle on the Squat Rider Machine XJ-6334 ensures proper form while squatting. In addition, using the handle provides a slight workout for your arms while squatting. The included computer tracks count, time, and calories to help you measure progress. The seat and handle can be adjusted to fit your needs. For added convenience, the Squat Rider folds when not in use so you can easily store the unit.

  • FOR SHORT FIT PPLE!! NOT TALL CHUNKY'S!
Okay so I don't usually take time to leave a review except for maybe to stomp on the stars without leaving a comment however, THIS THING SUCKS. Like with a capital S... I suppose the idea would be great if you're under 5'4" and under 160 however my daughter only weighs 168 and she's 5'11 and she can't use it!!!. It wobbles it creaks it feels like it's going to break underneath you or topple over cuz it's in bad design....EXAMPLE. 1. The width of the lower foot frame on the floor isn't wide enough to prevent wobbling while you mount the machine, 16" see attached photos. 2. The central bolts that hold the PIN for the seat in place and the actuation of the arm tied to the handles sticks through CENTER OF the entire frame... This leaves the bolt and nut on one side to stick out to SCRAPE THE INSIDE OF YOUR LEG, because it's directly in the line of path of motion for your feet to rest on the pedals!! OUCH... !!Why? Me and my daughter tried it once and both have indjuries on our legs... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!!! 3. Says 250lb rated.. My girls are WELL under that rating while I am a plump 238 and 5'10!. It creaks and feels weak under them!!! ME don't even ask.. :( 4. If you tighten the bolts down enough to feel semi-confident on the piece of equipment, it will literally bow the metal and deform it!!! I'm a home maker I shouldn't be able to do this with a "sturdy" piece of equipment. See attached photos.. The general idea of these riders as exercise equipment is perfectly wonderful(I have owned a older sturdy one),however this one claims to be weight rated at 250lbs, and be able to be used by tall people. NOT. I believe that by placing it at its tallest settings you are weakening it's foot extension and handlebar extension, therefore weakening its ability to sustain you...! It's fine if it actually fits you, however it's advertised for a sturdier frame and a sturdier weight rating and to accommodate my height & weight...NOPE!! Please do not advertise products for outside their actual capacities.. Put a fat tall person on it.. If its a no go DON'T CLAIM IT IS! My son is 243 and 6'3" he got one for 2 seconds, and told me. Its not safe send it back before I get hurt for real(ya know other than the leg scrapes)!?!? Final thoughts: if you are let's say under 170 and 5'4" maybe pushing 5'6" you should be able to use this machine anyone over that beware. I am returning immediately.. P.S. you're still going to scrape your leg on that poorly placed bolt....👎 SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!! ... show more

  • Lightweight and Easy-to-Store Workout Machine
I recently purchased this workout machine for my mother, and it has been a fantastic addition to our apartment. The machine is incredibly light, making it easy to move around the house as needed. It's designed to be space-efficient, so when my mom is done with her workout, she can easily store it away under the bed.The compact design is perfect for our apartment living, ensuring it doesn't take up much space when not in use. Despite its lightweight nature, the machine is sturdy and provides a great workout experience. My mom finds it very user-friendly, which is a big plus since she's new to home workout equipment. Overall, this is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a convenient and effective exercise solution for small spaces. ... show more

  • As expected and explained in description
I bought the rider to assist with squats due to my bad 30year old knees, I was a lil skeptical due to the reviews stating it’s hard on your knees. I can say My knees are the least of my worries when using the rider. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m loving it and would recommend for my 30 and younger. My fiancé put it together. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN bolts or they will squeak ... show more

  • I cut my scalp open and got a concussion trying to build this.
So, first thing I did was make sure all the parts and tools were there. They had pictures of a crescent wrench in the instructions, but did not include one. And I don't have. So it was a lot harder to build. The instructions have no words, only pictures of all the bolts and it took me several minutes of looking at each diagram to know what went where. About half way through the project, I was standing in front of it, tightening a bolt, and I lifted a metal bar to get it out of my way. I wasn't even thinking that would do any harm, because I'd already hit my head a few minutes earlier when I was seated and trying to tighten bolts and a different bar crashed into my head. But the 2nd time it happened, sent me to the ER with blood dripping down my scalp. Apparently the bar I had pushed up, came crashing right back down into my head when I was bent over and not looking at it. So I got a concussion putting this together. hit my head twice in one night. Went to the ER which was full of covid patients, so I probably now have Covid too... but when I got home, I decided to finish putting it together. I stood it up, then opened it. When I opened it, it crashed into my knee and nearly took my pinky off at the same time. This thing is DANGEROUS. Once it was finally all assembed, I tried to use it. The seat is sooo low to the ground that I had a really hard time using it. I had to pull myself into a near standing position, then I figured out maybe the seat needed to be lowered so I could stand all the way up, which I still can't, but it's closer. The videos of this product make it look so smooth and effortless but it is neither. Maybe it will get easier once I develop leg strength, or lose weight, but it strained my back and I was out of breath after probably one minute of using it. And it was all upper body for me, no lower. I don't know if I have the handle bars at the right height because there's no chart, stating use hole 1 for this height, or hold 2 for this height, etc. So... this is definitely something I will need to get used to and build up slowly with, but for now I just really worry about how to open and close it without injuring myself further. One last note: The video shows 3 bands and says you have 3 levels of resistance, but the instructions don't say that the bands are optional, so I wonder if I can remove two of the bands to make it easier on myself? And if so, does it matter which band (cable) remains connected? UPDATE: I removed 3 resistance cords and it's easier to pull myself up but it still strains my lower back and getting onto the machine is dangerous, ad I can't sit so low to the ground so I have to push one peddle while balancing on the other leg and and trying to sit with the seat raised higher by pushing the peddle, but this makes the machine wobble like it's going to tip. I am under the 250 weight limit, but I would not recommend this for anyone over 50, as I am, or anyone over 200 lbs unless you're all muscle and can hold yourself up while getting into the correct position. It's dangerous. ... show more
