Easy to assemble. I’ve tried assembling other benches before, and I think this one is on the easier side. There were no missing parts and the screws etc were all clearly labeled. Perfect Delivery Box was in pristine condition. Individual parts were wrapped in plastic for protection and had no damage in transit. Easy storage. I love that this bench can be folded up and stand on its own. When I’m not using it I set it aside to save space. Good sturdy bench for the price. Was relatively easy to assemble and easy to use for different exercises includig dips and abs crunches.

Bought this to use for bench presses, I'm 5ft 5in and feel like I barely fit on it. The quality is good for the price, but I probably would have returned it if I were a few inches taller. It's very lightweight which is good for moving around but makes me feel slightly less stable than I'd like. It also slides on hard floors so I added some non-slip pads from the hardware store. But at the price point, it's hard to give it less than 4 stars ... show more

    • Great Value! Feels like a $200 bench, but was only $70.
I wanted a simple bench to do home workouts. I usually splurge a bit for quality goods that last, but I knew this would only last a few short months while we're all isolated with Covid-19. So I took a chance with this cheaper bench, that had angle adjustment and leg supports/decline for ab work. I wasn't expecting much, assuming it'd be a pain to assemble, there'd be parts missing, it would feel unsturdy, it would squeak, etc. But honestly, none of that was the case. It came in a nice compact box, with approximately 8-9 main parts and all the screws/washers nicely labelled in a step-by-step fashion so you only opened the screws you needed for the steps you were in the instructions. You need two adjustable wrenches, but the allen key is included. It basically consisted of lining of parts and screwing them in. As long as you tighten the screws, the whole thing feels rock solid... almost. There's just 1 part that feels a bit flimsy, which is the seat-back support which notches into the various holds causing the backrest to be angled. The way it's designed, it wiggles around a little. However once you notch it in, the weight of the seat back (and you) make sure it's seated firmly, so it's really not a big deal. The cushion doesn't feel luxurious (it's fake leather), but it's not especially cheap either. I expect this will last quite awhile considering my moderate usage. I think you get more for what you paid for, but again, it's $70, so don't expect the rock solid quality of a several hundred dollar bench. ... show more

So, this past fall I was faced with a crazy life changing experience. I contracted a unknown virus from what they thing was a mosquito bite from a mosquito carried into my area here in North Carolina which ended up causing Viral Encephalitis. I for the first two weeks of October, the 6th being my 38th birthday, unconscious and on life support. Because it attacked my brain stem I have no memory at all of the end of September until the beginning of November. When I could start to remember and function a little bit I was moved from the hospital to a inpatient rehab center. When I got to the rehab center I could barely move let alone sit up, walk, talk, eat. I was a mess. I was assessed and then told at the end of the two weeks I would probably be walking 300 feet with a walker and that I would then be discharged. At that moment I decided that was what was not going to happen not only for me but for all the people who helped me I was going to fight and I also did not want my 4 year old son to see me like that. So at the end of only just a week and a half I was walking 5000 to 6000 feet with no walker no device for aid at all. I blew away everyone that worked at the rehab so much so that they put my story up on a plaque on the wall at the facility. So it has been a long journey and I am now doing alright I still have a lot of brain issues but I am a fighter and with that said I was looking for great weight lifting products to help me get back the muscle I had before all of this and I decided to purchase Marcy products. I was blown away by how well built their products are and how easy they were to put together. By far the best home gym equipment I have ever purchased.
