Description

Siren's Song Siren's Song is a blue-green dye that glows under blacklight. For best results, we recommend applying to hair that has been pre-lightened to the lightest level 10 blonde. 1. Wash hair with a deep cleansing/clarifying shampoo. Do not condition. 2. Dry hair with a blow dryer to make sure the hair is extremely porous. 3. Put on gloves and apply Manic Panic Hair Color using a tint brush making sure hair is thoroughly saturated. 4. Comb through the hair color to make sure it is evenly applied. The cream may become slightly frothy. 5. Cover hair with a plastic cap and leave on for 30-45 minutes. For more intensity, add heat. 6. Rinse with cool water away from your face and body until water runs clear. Do not shampoo. 7. Style as desired. To prevent color transfer or bleeding, always make sure your hair is completely dry. Pro Tip: Use a hair dryer to evenly apply heat for 5-10 minutes of your processing time. This will help to open up the cuticle and allow the Manic Panic hair color to better penetrate the hair strand. Make sure to allow the hair to cool completely before rinsing out color. Everyone who’s ever died there hair at home before a vibrant color at least, knows the brand manic panic. You can’t compare other hair dies to them, simply put. There the best out there. Huge array of colors to choose from, colors are vibrant and beautiful. Best of all is the longevity of the die. I’ve always used manic panic colors for this reason, I’d rather bleach and die my hair once every 5-6 months vs every 2-3 with other brands. And touching up is so easy and simple, especially because there is so much product in each jar. I bought this and died half my hair and have at least 2/3rd’s of the jar still left. I plan to touch up my roots next week and I’ll still have 1/2 the bottle left for whenever I want to redye over it, and I won’t have to bleach again simply put it right on top. They show you if you don’t bleach the color it’ll be, if you have blond hair already the color it’ll turn out like, and if you bleach the color it’ll turn out like. I bleached my hair this time, and if you put my hair next to the swatch they show you it would be identical. Arrived very quickly and was a good quality like other Manic Panic products. I gave this 4 stars because the color wasn't as vibrant as other colors. I used this color (siren's song) along with some others, on the same bleached hair/same amount of time, and it wasn't as bold. I redid this color, leaving it in much longer and that helped.     • Siren Song is not pigmented at all
I will preface this with the knowledge that I have been dyeing my hair green/teal for nearly 7 years now consistently. I quite like Enchanted Forest as it is very pigmented and will hold onto hair that isnt bleached as lightly (I do money pieces now to frame my face and the bottom half of my hair), but when that one was unavailable I ordered Siren Song since the colors look somewhat similar and I'm just happy with any shade of green/blue-green. This was a terrible choice. There was no pigmentation and it did not stick to my hair nearly the same way Enchanted Forest does, even on the lighter bleached parts-- I was so taken aback. After following directions and applying same as usual, rinsing and drying I could barely tell I re-applied color :( I am so disappointed in this color. Giant waste of money. ... show more

    • It didn’t take to my hair like I hoped
Okay I’m writing this while my hair is still drying.. however I wanted a ombré type style because I wanted to do something that I had never done before. I have dark brown hair so I ordered manic panic bleach (which did a good job) and then siren dye. I used the entire container on my head and left it on for 90 minutes. After the 90, I rinsed it out with cold water (like the reviews suggested). As I’m looking at my hair, I notice that most of the color was rinsed out too. My hair is sadly not at all as vibrant and lovely like the other reviews :( I definitely will be trying a different color because it looks more like I had color that faded over a long period of time . I am NOT blaming the color or brand , as maybe it just doesn’t take to hair like mine. I will be trying a darker blue to see if that does a better job. I have been buying this brand for such a long time. I just use it on my ends and it just give a flare of color. Easy to use and will fade with washing.
