First time self-dying, but I've had red hair for about 6 years now. I was skeptical, because I saw the reviews of people saying the color faded almost immediately. I thought I'd try it anyway. It worked amazingly! Looks just like it does when I would get it dyed by a stylist. It would help if there were more in-depth instructions, though, since the only reason I knew how to get the most out of the color was because I've gotten it done for so many years. When you first dye it and rinse out the color, wait at least 3-5 days to wash your hair out completely again. It helps the color settle, and reduces the risk of losing all of your hard work with one wash. Obviously, you're bound to lose SOME vibrancy in the first wash, which is completely normal. After that, you can resume your normal hair-washing routine. I'd also recommend using color-care shampoo. Most grocery stores have a cheap brand that will do fine. Overall, two weeks later, my hair color is still strong and hasn't faded after washing!

I love manic panic it's a vegen base so it's not damaging to my hair it comes in all different colors and I use it to keep my red touched up since red is such a hard color to keep it helps me stay looking fresh without damaging my hair since I hAve to do touch ups about every 3 weeks ..

Love this super red dye. It didn't dry my hair or damage it. It does fade fast, but because it's so gentle, I can use it as often as I find necessary. Will definitely be ordering more!

I would love to say good things about this brand, because initially the color turned out great, but it’s not worth it. It mostly washed out after about 5 shampoos, but there was a hint of the color that stuck for months. I finally went to the hair salon to have something else done, and I was told never to use manic panic again, because the color is extremely difficult to get out. I spent nearly two hours in the chair with lightening cream, over $100, just trying to get this color out so we could do something else, and it still didn’t come all the way out. Not worth it for about two days of great color.
