Siren's Song Siren's Song is a blue-green dye that glows under blacklight. For best results, we recommend applying to hair that has been pre-lightened to the lightest level 10 blonde. Applying Manic Panic hair color to pre-lightened hair is the best way to assure that you will achieve the vibrant results that you see on our color swatches. Lightening with our Flash Lightning Kits to a pale blonde (level 9-10) will give the most intense results. We offer 3 bleach kits that will lighten your hair: BLUE LIGHTNING 30 VOL, FLASH LIGHTNING 30 VOL, AND FLASH LIGHTNING AMPLIFIED 40 VOL. BLUE LIGHTNING helps remove any unwanted brassiness in the hair, FLASH LIGHTNING AMPLIFIED 40 Vol is our super strength bleach kit, more powerful than the FLASH LIGHTNING 30 vol. All bleach kits will help you lighten your hair according to the instructions in the package. Blend our Mixer/Pastel-izer with any color to achieve a lighter, pastel tint that is totally on-trend. Combine any formula with the Mixer/Pastel-izer to create soft, on-trend pastel hues. This product works best when you use a whole jar of Pastel-izer with just a few drops of your desired color. A semi-permanent direct dye hair color does not contain any harmful chemicals and relies on natural vegan dyes that mostly sit on top of the hair. 1. Wash hair with a deep cleansing/clarifying shampoo. Do not condition. 2. Dry hair with a blow dryer to make sure the hair is extremely porous. 3. Put on gloves and apply Manic Panic Hair Color using a tint brush making sure hair is thoroughly saturated. 4. Comb through the hair color to make sure it is evenly applied. The cream may become slightly frothy. 5. Cover hair with a plastic cap and leave on for 30-45 minutes. For more intensity, add heat. 6. Rinse with cool water away from your face and body until water runs clear. Do not shampoo. 7. Style as desired. To prevent color transfer or bleeding, always make sure your hair is completely dry. Pro Tip: Use a hair dryer to evenly apply heat for 5-10 minutes of your processing time. This will help to open up the cuticle and allow the Manic Panic hair color to better penetrate the hair strand. Make sure to allow the hair to cool completely before rinsing out color.

Works pretty well! Easy enough to clean up also. I bleached my hair with 49 volume for about an hour first. Not everyone should do that though, it depends on hair type. It lasts for some time, at least a few weeks, and fades subtly and gracefully with each wash (and I use aggressive mens three in one shampoos sometimes). Definitely a good color and shine with this and if the dye spills while applying it’s easily cleaned off surfaces with rubbing alcohol or bleach. Didn’t stain all over my skin either. I'm always worried using Manic Panic as opposed to more "professional" brands because I've had bad experiences with the colors washing out. This color is vibrant and beautiful and comes out as expected. I've had it in for almost three weeks and have had minimal fading (if you want to keep it in longer, I suggest using dry shampoo and washing your hair less often). I guess I should've looked at the pictures better if I was hoping for a darker, tealer shade, but I was SHOCKED when it came out bright green! And not in a bad way!!! I instantly loved it!!! I want my hair to be this color forever!

I wanted a little something different so I purchased a few colors of Manic Panic to test out for summer. I have a mermaid photoshoot coming up, so I wanted some cute mermaid colors. I haven't used Manic Panic in many years, but I tend to like it better for fashion colors as opposed to Splat hair dye, which ruins everything you come into contact with. I don't have that problem with Manic Panic color. It faded out nicely and lasted quite a while until I just dyed over it. Of course, I only dyed the ends of my hair and so, since I shampoo only my roots, that's why it lasted longer. The ends weren't getting shampooed, only conditioned. I also didn't use heat on my hair too much during the time I had the color in. I like it. Considering doing pink and purple on separate occasions before summer if over and I go back to brunette for the fall/winter. Oh! Forgot to mention that I had bleached my hair to as light as I could get it without totally damaging my hair and the color wasn't super bright, but still looked great. No damage to my hair since it's more of a natural dye. ... show more

You don't need bleach blonde hair for Siren's Song. I used it on orange undertone pre lightened hair and it turned out vibrant, probably because I let it sit for six hours. I have used Manic Panic before. I usually let it stay on for a few more hours than recommended, however the color doesn't last in its full coverage state longer than a week and a half and then starts to fade. I went and dyed my hair again a little before 2 weeks went by because it just wasn't living up to the color it was the first couple days. Note: Although the color didn't last more than a couple weeks in a vibrant stage, it will leave traces of color for a few months. (My experience) ... show more

After bleaching my hair with Manic Panic's level 30 Blue Lightning, I dyed it the same evening with this Amplified Siren's Song. It turned out beautifully! I suggest lightening hair before dying to get a clear colour and to leave the dye on for plenty of time. I fully saturated my hair and left it on for a few hours. Literally only need to re-dye it twice a year. I like the way it fades and usually get more compliments right around the time I’m going to re-do it. I keep tie dye on for about 3 hours. Idk if it makes it last longer but something is working..

Love the color,it gets plenty of nice compliments. I started with very dark/thick brown hair, bleached it to Platinum blonde using level 40 developer, (* only use 40 if you have hair you are positive can handle it,) and this color absolutely pops. I mixed a little bit of bright blue sporadically on top of this color and in my roots to give my hair texture, so it wasn't all one color. Although I use dry shampoo the color faded substantially week one, then I retouched. On week three now and the color is a smooth pastel. I haven't tried the UV effects under a blacklight, so I can't comment on that. Great color, highly recommend. ... show more
