  • The Perfect Green!
LOVE it! After puttering around with various shades I've finally found one that is truly green, this is the color I was searching for. Within the green dye spectrum, from yellowest to bluest: Electric Lizard (very yellow-green), Green Envy (pure green), Venus Envy (blueish green that fades to dark aqua blue), Enchanted Forest (very blue with a hint of green). Venus Envy VS Green Envy Comparison: I started with Venus Envy, thinking that it would be green only to find that it starts out a blue-tinted green then fades to an aqua/turquoise blue over time, so much so that people would comment how lovely my BLUE hair was. However, Green Envy (this color), stays consistently a vibrant deep green that shines brilliantly without giving off that Joker (Batman) vibe. I would call it a forest green, for those who like hex colors its approx #007211, pretty much like the product photo. Venus Envy was muddied so much with blue that it never glowed like Green Envy does. When it eventually washes out, it goes through a phase of being a lighter version of the same green, and finally when there is very little dye left it has a lemon-lime look if your hair bleach made your hair yellow/blonde. Shampoo: I'm Italian which means I have straight oily very dark brown hair, I've found that the sulfate-free shampoo Aveeno Pure Renewal Shampoo (Amazon) and Suave Essentials Conditioner - Tropical Coconut (a few bucks at the grocery store) were absolutely essential to keeping the color longer and would highly recommend these if you use Manic Panic. You will see some dye bleeding in the water but it stays brilliant after many washes, making it look freshly dyed for a month instead of a few days. You can douse your entire head in the stuff without it effecting your color much. I wish I knew that info back when I started dying my hair, so I thought it should be mentioned here. ... show more

  • Perfect Green
I am obsessed with Manic Panic fantasy color is. This is not the first thing I see color I've had, I have had blue, pink, purple, purple, red, blonde, brown, any color you can imagine except for green. And so, when I wanted a green color in my hair, I wanted a St. Patty's Day Green, kelly green, green as you can think without it being too dark. And this one is perfect! I did not bleach my hair before, I put it right on top of my light colored hair, and I left it on for hours. Once I washed it out, it was green as I had imagined. I have had to touch up the color a few times, but it fades with every wash. But that is something you go into this knowing. I will definitely be buying more as this is probably my favorite fantasy color I've ever had, so thank you Manic Panic and Amazon for offering the product. If you're looking for a good cream to put into your hair come look at this one. ... show more

  • A great true green
This the true green I’d been trying for and I couldn’t be more happy about it Got two bottles just to be safe, and I have plenty left over for next time It’s been nearly two months since using it, and my hair is still pretty darn green (I bleached before, it’s yellowed a bit but I was lazy about toning) My hair takes really well to green in general, but this is the longest lasting I’ve had so far It will stain everything you own, at least for the first couple washes, but that’s to be expected with dyes like this so I wasn’t mad ... show more

  • Thought my hair wouldn’t hold green…Manic Panic to the rescue!
I had been using several green shades for a couple of months from another well known brand. It was awful. It would only look pretty til the first wash. Then it would fade rapidly, turning anywhere from a murky teal to, oddly, bright royal blue. I thought perhaps my hair just wasn’t going to hold green. I was having to reapply dye twice a week just to keep it somewhat green. Decided to try this product just to see if it would last a few more washes. It absolutely does! It actually took a good two weeks to start kinda looking teal, and I’ve been washing nearly every day (due to having a job in a barn) and I just use a generic version of good ol’ Tresemme on it. Not even the the shampoo specifically for color…literally just a generic version of tresemme that Aldi makes. So like the cheaper shampoo of the cheap shampoo lol. I’m shocked at how well this is lasting despite my lack of effort to actually preserve the color. I mixed just a dot or two of black with it to make it a deeper forest green and it’s just SO lovely. I was worried this was not going to stay because the first 2 washes, I was alarmed to see so much green color tinting the water running off my hair…the other brand didn’t do that at all, so I thought it was literally just washing out. Nope! I’m so happy with this product and highly recommend! ... show more

  • Pretty good but
I personally wish that the color was a darker green. It's advertised a certain way that doesn't meet the results. It's very easy to use (I prefer it over the little cans(?) but it could be better in color

  • Tested it on light pink hair
Haven’t actually used much yet, but I tested it on light pink hair and it was still green. Very nice color

  • Great And Long Lasting
I have tried Splat and a couple of other dyes, but Manic Panic is the best and the longest lasting. It says to wash your hair in cooler water to make the color last, but I haven't had to do that - I just do little touch ups every couple of weeks and it looks so nice! The vegan aspect and the fact it's not tested on animals is a plus. ... show more

  • Pretty!
I really enjoyed the color of this dye! My natural hair is a dark brown, so I have my hair bleached to about a medium blonde to begin with. When first dyed it started out as a deep emerald-y color, almost exactly like the picture shown. (first dyed is my the first picture.) the second picture is about a week after first dyeing it, with two washes in between. It dulled to a lemon-lime color by then, which i personally still like. The last picture is about two weeks after my first dye, and i could start to see some of the blonde peeking through, but most of the color was still holding strong! Overall, I definitely like this color! ... show more
