I've been using this animal pen for our garage chicken brooder for a few weeks. It is pretty spacious for 6 almost 5 week old chicks. We have a big waterer, feeder, roost and their heat plate inside with room to spare. It isn't going to hold up to being thrown around or rough housed, the wood is fairly "soft" and hinges are small so I've been mindful of that when folding it up and it's doing fine. It does fold up nicely and once you get the hang of it, it is easy. The hardware cloth is stapled to the frame and sharp edges are exposed, I feel like for this price those should be covered. My chickens hop out if I open the top and I don't want one of them to cut their feet so I have to be fast when I'm getting their food and water changed as those won't fit through the small side door. Other than that, we used this when the chicks were really tiny for supervised field trips to the yard and it worked well. I imagine I will use this to integrate new chicks into our flock in the future so I know we will get a lot of use out of this and I'll probably cover those sharp edges for the next round of chickens.

The cage is exactly what I wanted for raising my chicks! Only one very minor issue. When it arrived one of the small hinges of the lid was not screwed in on one side. I found no screws in the box so they probably fell out when being packed into the box. I got screws to attach and noticed that the frame wood was split where those two screw holes were. Luckily I was able to put in the screws and they got enough bite to hold without further damaging the frame. But even with that split, this cage is really nice quality and sturdy. The seller was also very nice to work with, they answered my email inquiry quickly and were very helpful. I think it's a great buy for the price. One thing I want to point out to potential buyers, there is no bottom to this pen. I found that slightly odd since it's advertised as an 'indoor' pen. You wouldn't want to put it right on your floor or carpeting!

This is a handy little coop, super easy to unfold and set up, nice and sturdy with multiple entry points, I especially like the roof top door, you can reach every corner from there. I bought this to use for a hen and two chicks to keep them separated from the flock, the small wire was perfect and everybody was safe and sound, no escape points even for my tiny bantams. I wish I had bought this a long time ago, I built myself a pen and it can be a pain sometimes. I like that this folds up and I can put away and not have to move it around through the winter, I can just pull it out when I need it. It has a nice rope handle to carry it with and I'll be using that to hang it in the barn for storage. The only con would be that I do not think it would last long in the winter weather, its sturdy but not the highest quality wood, I feel it would break down quickly if left out in the elements for a couple years.

I bought this to use for a momma hen and her chicks inside the coop and it has been perfect. It was easy to put up and folds easily to be moved around. It isn't going to withstand a lot of abuse, but still great quality for the money. It was a perfect size and looks really good as well. Definitely a lot better than building a permanent enclosure or using something heavy. And bonus, because it is opened on the bottom it is super easy to clean. Definitely recommend.

This hutch is such a super design — it actually works OK even though it was incompetently manufactured with rotted wood and upside down or reversed parts! Most of the defects can be corrected with screwdriver, claw hammer, new Brad nails, 3/4” staples from a staple gun and careful disassembly/reassembly. When properly assembled, the hutch is still a bit flimsy, so I added 1” removable metal pegs to the lid to stabilize the folding sides. I used additional staples to secure the hardware cloth (wire mesh) to the frame. I also made a floor/base with 1/2”x1” wire mesh, cross braces and nine 2” swivel wheels so I can roll it around and clean underneath. The design is also great because it allows for easy access to all areas of the hutch and a nice egress door makes it perfect for housing my rabbits. The plywood top as shown in the pictures is covered with an old blue towel to insulate and to provide traction for rabbits that like to hop up there and lounge! I put cardboard boxes with hay in the hutch for the rabbits to chew and to hide in.

We love this portable, foldable cage! It’s so easy to use and very sturdy! Of course small animals might be able to go under the sides if the ground is uneven. We put patio bricks there and it worked great! Nice product!!!

$50 is what this thing should cost at MAX. Probably only $25 of materials in it as it is, and they are the CHEAPEST materials they could find. If this was made with quality components and put together like they actually cared I would pay as high as $200… but I will NEVER go with anything this company makes again. Not well put together at ALL. They just slapped really lightweight and cheap metal hinges wherever they would fit on to the even cheaper wood. The wood is BRITTLE. One of my homes was unscrewed due to the wood being cracked because it’s obvious they didn’t drill pilot holes before putting these screws in. NOTHING lines up correctly. The lightweight wood products they used is still rough cuts with little to no sanding, so expect possible splinters. This thing is super flimsy. All of the hardware and screws they use are the cheapest ever made. No care was put in to making sure the pieces are lined up before they honed it together. The wire is the thinnest and most lightweight garbage they could find, and the least amount of staples they could get away with to attach the wire - that’s the plan they went with. Absolutely horrible. This would get less than one star if I could, but I guess since it’s DOES at least hold in the chicks I’ll give it one.
