I bought this kit to get broken hardened bolts unstuck from some horizontal directional drilling tooling. It worked amazingly the first try. We were able to get it done no problem, saving me hundreds from having to get the tooling replaced.

This works as well or better than it was advertised. My frustration level was at a 10+ with the oil change place that changed my oil. Thy must have used a impact on the drain plug, with a sockets 2 sizes to big because they rounded off all the shoulders on the head. I tried everything toil I own and was thinking about dropping the pan until I came across this tool set. I tapped the socket on and it turned right out, no cursing was involved. If you have a bolt rounded off,or broken get this you won't regret it.

I have been working on cars for 30 years and have always struggled with a broken bolt. I purchased this set hoping to find a better solution for extracting a broken flywheel bolt. 30 seconds later and I was done. It worked exactly like it was supposed to and saved me a ton of frustration and time.

I had a pipe fitting that was broken and stuck and this set of bits saved me. I bought the 25 piece set since it looked like it had the right sizes that I needed. What I liked about this set was the shorter bits. I had bought a cheaper set with longer bits previously and the tips were too long to work. These worked for my problem but perhaps not all… time will tell. There were no instructions how to use them so you’re on your own there. I connected the screw to an attachment on my ratchet wrench. Based on the product photos, I kinda thought that this would include an attachment that I could hook up to my drill but it didn’t. It’s just the bits. Overall, it solved my problem so I’m happy I got it. Just be aware that you’ll need a set of your own tools like a ratchet and some pliers to make use of it.

This screw extractor kit worked exactly as expected. The drill bits are very sharp and drilled through the bolt easily. The extractor bits gripped and held once the hole had been drilled deep enough. Excellent product for the price.

This set comes complete with most sizes that I'll ever need in automotive works. Though I've only got to use it once to remove a broken M6 bolt, I can already tell this is a much better set than most of my old stuff. This set even topples the good old craftsman 4-piece set that I've owned since 2003. Those were the good craftsman USA tool era and this set rivals it and more. Most bit extractor sets come with a square drive design where I need to come up with my own driver tool. And those also aren't compatible with a normal drill chuck to get a concentric movement. This set comes in with a 3/8" drive slot and I can plug my ratcheting driver into it and go. I get precise control and lots of torque using a 18" 3/8" driver with a 8" extension. Everything works perfectly and I didn't even need a drill bit to pre-drill the broken bolt. I just use the smallest size insert and got it out without a hiccup. Highly recommend this set. This a tool set that you better have it and not need it than to need it and not have it type of situation. So if you're handy enough to realize what this kit does for you, better get it while it's still up here. Quality and complete sets like this don't come around too often and this is a gem in my opinion.
