A little tricky to get just right because we had to make our own removesblr metal poles. So it’s a little tricky and some physics involved if you don’t have something to attach it to. We figured out to two holes with little pipes flush with the ground and then we inserted slightly smaller metal poles from Home Depot that are removable so it worked out great! It’s tricky to get the sails taunt and even if you make your own poles. We found some great information in these reviews. The springs work great! If you’re looking for this type shade look no further. This is very nice quality and reasonably priced. Easy to instal. Hardest part was transporting the 6x6 posts from Lowe’s to my yard and into the ground. Just heavy and bulky but not impossible. Four stars for the string they included for installation. That was a joke. You will have to purchase your own hardware. The posts, concrete and hardware cost me about $100 ... show more

We bought this for additional shade in our south facing backyard and I’m so far impressed with how it’s held up. We don’t always get around to taking it down when the wind starts blowing but it’s held up great so far.

Have smallish 12x14 deck with southern exposure. Thought an 8’ triangle would fill the bill. OK but have to move to stay in shade. Ordered a 10’ triangle to replace. The extra coverage makes the difference. Have perfect spot by the pool for the 8’er.

In South Louisiana it gets extremely hot. I always have an issue with keeping water cold in the pasture. This is the perfect solution. Temps here have reached 100 + degrees already this Summer but the water has stayed cold to the touch. Material is rugged and durable. Super easy to install.

I installed four triangular sun shades today in my garden courtyard in Mexico. These replaced a single rectangular custom shade that finally wore out. For the price, these are terrific -- well made, exactly as ordered, and I expect them to last a few years in our sunny climate. Triangle shades are more resistant to the high-winds in Malibu. They look great if you use the correct metal tightening hardware and cement strong poles to the earth. Lay the shades out on the ground fist too get the correct position for the poles. After the fast cement is dry you can set them up easy. You can do many configurations to block the sun. They look good. Still have to tighten the hardware tomorrow after the cement fully cures. ... show more
