I like these because they have two grommet holes, which allow tethering to my pool cover and wire in two separated attachment points. If they fall 48 inches while full of water, they will likely burst. I learned that the hard way for two of them. These did a great job. This past winter was extra windy and the pool cover came off at least 3 times. Finally installed these and no more issues. Wish I would have bought sooner. Would have saved me lots of time and frustration.

Within 5 minutes of placing the filled water bags on my winter pool cover, the wind picked them up and threw them onto the deck. Granted, it was a windy day (20 mph winds). They are completely worthless in a windy situation. Also, the overwhelming majority of the bags had warped openings. I needed to use pliers to stretch the openings into circular rounds instead of the weird oval shaped warped openings that were on the bags. I assume this was due to poor packaging and shipping. I threw away the original packaging when I filled the bags. Since they are used, I'm assuming I won't get a refund. ... show more

They work as expected for the most part. They are way overpriced for what they are. And over the winter, the first winter, one has fallen apart and fell to the ground. Sorry, not worth the money.

Filled bags 3/4 full of water as recommended by the manufacturer to prevent damage from freeze expansion. No connection devices are included in the packaging; I fashioned metal J hooks to attach bags to the pool cover cable.
