I ordered this product based on price (its a great price for a 32 amp charger) and features (it works just like a Tesla brand charger). It arrived and it was simple to use. Plug it in, charge the Tesla and 32 amps, and it was great. And then, after about six weeks, I got an error message from the Tesla system. I tried another charger I had, and that worked fine, so I knew it was a problem with the VDLPOWER charger. I contacted Amazon customer service, and they put me in touch with the manufacturer. Since is was over 30 days old, and my time to ask for a refund had passed, I expected to have a difficult interaction with the vendor. Boy was I surprised. In less than a day, I heard from Bily, someone at BDLPOWER. We used the Amazon communication portal, and the assured me that they would do what they could to help me. They asked for any supporting photos so they could see what I was seeing. I took a few photo and provided a 1 minute video, and they thanked me for providing that info. If fact, before I could finish uploading the video, I received a nice letter thanking me for choosing their product, apologized for the product failure (any electronic product can have a faulty item occasionally) and notified me that they had sent me a replacement through Amazon. Just four days after intiating contact, I had a brand new unit sitting on my front porch. The communications with the vendor were upbeat, positive and helpful, and I felt really glad I had chosen this company's product. Five Stars to VDLPOWER for a great product, FIVE STARS to Bily, the CSR that resolved my problem so nicely and completely, and FIVE STARS to Amazon, for their excellent customer service. Just an hour ago, I received a live phone call from the same Amazon employee that I talked to four days ago. He just wanted to check to see if my problem had been resolved. And he even sent me another follow up email thanking me for being an Amazon customer. This has been a great experience. And should I ever need another charger for my Tesla, I will be purchasing the VDLPOWER Level 2 Tesla Charger again. It's a great product, backed by a great company!

This is not just cheaper than the Tesla mobile charger, it's also more efficient. At 32amps, the plugs and wires are substantially cooler and I estimate that it's 200W more efficient at 7.5kw. I bought this as a spare in case my Tesla mobile charger had problems. Now the Tesla charger is the spare. I used to get temperature warnings in the summer heat and the plugs would be quite hot at 150f, this charger runs way cooler at about 130f. The fact that it's cheaper only sweetens the deal. The downside of not being able to swap plug styles is real, but the efficiently upside offsets that in the use case where you never need to change plug types.

Yes it connected very easily and functioned perfectly. It is light weight making it easy to handle and easily portable if needed. I’m able to make adjustments and compared to other chargers I believe this one is a great value if you’re looking for a trickle charger.

I picked up the VDLPOWERVP Level 1/2 16Amp charger as an alternative to my stock Tesla mobile connector, and I’ve been really impressed with the actual performance. The main highlight here is the charging speed, it consistently gives me a better charge rate than the OEM charger. If you're looking to maximize your miles per hour of charge without hardwiring an expensive wall connector, this does the job perfectly. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the build quality. The materials just feel a bit cheap compared to the heavy-duty, premium feel of the official Tesla equipment. The plastic casing and the cable itself don't have that same rugged durability, so I try to be a little extra careful when wrapping it up or tossing it in the trunk. That said, it functions flawlessly and delivers exactly what it promises on the spec sheet. If you can look past the slightly budget feel of the materials, it’s a fantastic, cost-effective charger that actually outperforms the stock option. Highly recommend it if you just care about the charging speed!

Very good level 1 charger. Stays cool even out in the sun. Charges fast for level 1. Works great on my Polestar 2. Seems quality. Lightweight, and small. I don’t use level 2. Solid charger. Highly recommended.

Excellent product. Works perfectly for me. I mostly drive in town but it keeps me charged. Recently my job moved employee parking to a lot with no chargers. A lot of us live in places where installing a full charger isn’t allowed. This has been very helpful for me as I was going to a fast charger once a week. Great product. Easy to connect and disconnect. Just push the button and it stops. No need to do it through the app if you don’t want to. (I don’t). Also the cables are very long. Both the plug in and the charge cable. Easy to situate in any garage or charging space. So far 10/5 stars:)
