This NEMA 10-30 EV Charger for Tesla’s by SUGUMA, is a great quality, solid performing charger, with the button to communicate with the Tesla charging port, as well as all the capabilities you should need to keep your EV ready to go. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – This charger looks and feels like a well-made charger, with thick cables and a strong build. The higher level of quality is notable, being nicer than most I’ve tried. It also comes with a pretty good quality travel bag that keeps it all contained in your trunk or frunk if you decide to bring it along. I’d put the overall quality in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for at home EV chargers and guess that it should hold up well over time. II. Performance – This one has worked great in many ways, with power up to 24A that has 4 adjustable amp levels to select what you need. The 24-amp max is definitely on the lower side and will take almost twice as long as the 40A I also use. However, that’s the best you can safely hope for, if you need to use a 30A dryer outlet as you power source. The screen is nice to have, providing helpful information, such as timer, current, voltage, power used and temperature. It has 8 safety features to help monitor when you’re not. The 25-foot cable is on the longer side of the available cables and great to have if you can’t park next to the charger. It uniquely has a button on the charging end like the factory Tesla charger that will communicate with the car to open the charging port and unlock it when removing. It’s compatible with all Tesla’s and has a storage bracket you can mount to the wall for the charging tip, as well as one for the main unit. This product has very nice quality and functionality, providing a good, but not great value currently, for a portable EV charger. Overall, this is a fantastic option for Tesla owners, that offers the ability to use a NEMA 10-30 dryer outlet, with notable quality, convenience and all the features most people might need. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Good solid construction and a 25 foot cable is nice as it allows for versatility in where you install this. You could also use this as a portable charger but I think it is more appropriate as a permanent, installed charger. 24A power is pretty low for an EV charger if you have a larger car. Even a Model Y will take some time to charge if you're low. So if you drive a lot I would suggest springing for a 32A but if you have a smaller car or don't drive a lot this should be fine. If you plug it in at night when rates are lower you will get to your 80% or 90% charge by morning. Easy to install, the connection fit tightly, and everything works as expected.

Lo uso para cargar la cybertruck en mi trabajo y de verdad que cuando la carga esta 7% y la dejo cargando toda la noche es decir 12 horas. La carga llega al 77% no se de que depende.

This is a nice and very durable EV charger. It works well and is as described. It is fairly big but easy to install and use. The cord length is perfect for your garage or station and it is an affordable, quality option.

This Level 2 Tesla charger is a great charger to have on hand for easy charging. It plugs right into a standard 4-prong dryer outlet and the 25ft cable gives you plenty of reach. It charges quickly, if you have the right amperage setup for the outlet, though it’s not as fast as some of my other chargers that have a higher amperage. I like that it is easy to setup, and you don’t need to hardwire it in. It also comes with a carrying case, so you can take it with you if you want to. The display is simple but easy to read. I don’t think I would want this to be my everyday charger, as I prefer something that charges faster, but as a backup and a charger to take on the go, it’s a solid option.
