I’ve had several level 2 chargers for my Chevy Volt and this one is by far the best. I love the slim design and all of the information it provides on the front of the unit. I bought this to use with my '25 Mazda CX90 PHEV, and so far, I am really happy with my decision. The Mazda limits charging speed so I didn't need anything overpowered. The build is solid and charges the CX90 PHEV as fast as possible. Mazda seems to be partnered up with ChargePoint but this was a much better deal for me at around $150 on sale vs the charge point at $600. I don't need an extra app when I can set charging hours on the car and receive remote updates through Mazda's app.

Works well, haven't had any issues with it and have been using it for the past few months in the garage. Can easily set amperage limits. Operates on 120 or 240 volts with appropriate adapters.

This is a pretty good portable charger at a good price point. It includes a bracket to hang the display unit and a bracket to hang the cable and hold the J1772 connector. The display shows temperature, charging status, charging current and voltage, charging time, and electrical consumption. It has a delayed start function but most EVs have their own ability to control charge start times, so I haven’t used that feature. It plugs into a NEMA 14-50 plug and will handle up to 32 amps. The cable is the same thickness as the mobile charger that came with my vehicle. There is no noticeable heat from the charger, cable, or vehicle connector during charging. The parts are well made and look nice. The case is larger than I expected but at least I don’t have to tetris everything in it like I do with the one that came with my car. It is not as thick and durable as mine but, in my case, won’t be used much. This charger will stay in my garage, and I’ll use the one that came with the vehicle for traveling. There are 4 small design issues, all with the plastic cord hanger. It screws to the wall with 3 screws that are in the hole that the J1772 connector fits in. 1. This hole is about 2” deep making it impossible to hold them when screwing them in so you will need a long magnetic Phillips to install them. 2. The 2 top holes just barely fit a 2x4, so you need to be very careful when locating it to make sure they both make good contact with your stud. 3. The holder is perpendicular to the wall instead of angled down. This makes the J1772 connector stick out in the room much farther than it needs to as you can see in my picture. 4. The screws that come with it are junk. The first one broke trying to go into a 2x4. Make sure you have 3 good screws or pre-drill the holes. #8x1.25” screw should work fine. These are minor issues IMO. I have used it on my Mach E and Corsair Plug-in Hybrid, and it works great for both. Being only 32amps it did take a little longer for my MachE to charge but it still easily charged it from near 10% to 80% overnight.

I like that it does charge my car three times faster than the outlet as advertised. I’ve been using this for over two months on my 2024 Mitsubishi outlander hybrid just be aware you will need an adapter if you’re using the regular fast outlet that usually connects to washers and dryers and adapter for this.

I have been using this charger for a month now to charge my Bolt EUV. It works flawlessly with 31A maximum current output (it says 32A but it never went up to 32A). The cable is thicker as compared to the charger that came with the car and even the Tesla charger cable. It is very well built. The length of the cable is 25ft, which is longer than the Chevy charger that came with the car. The length helps with charging the car even if it parked on the other side on my garage. Overall, a solid product.
