I've been sort of limping along for a while with my level 1 charger on my Subaru EV. It does the job, very slowly. This Level 2 charger is a game changer for me. It's providing a much faster charge and I now have confidence I can be juiced up to go in a reasonable amount of time. This charger feels heavy duty and well made to me. The cable is long (25ft), thick, and sturdy feeling. The plug end is J1772 style and works great in my Subaru. I'd imagine it'll work fine in any compatible J1772 just fine. Very simple to operate and the light color change depending on the status. It's pretty easy to get the hang of the color scheme to know what's what. It also has a ton of protections. I'm not an electrician, but they all sound like a good idea when it comes to charging a n electric vehicle. I've had zero problems to date. For me, I'm delighted by this efficient and effective Level 2 charger. Well worth the price to upgrade from the Level 1. Very nice product from Ecolux-E and comes with a 2 year warranty per the listing.

Bought this for my garage setup to charge my new EV and it works perfectly. The plug fits tight and the cable length gives me plenty of room to reach the car in the driveway. Installation was literally plug and play once my electrician added the outlet. The charging speed is solid, I get a full charge overnight easily. The display screen shows voltage and amps clearly which is nice for keeping an eye on it. The unit itself feels well built, doesn’t overheat or buzz. I like that it’s easy to wrap the cord up when not in use too. Been using it for a few months now without a single hiccup. Great option if you want something reliable but not overpriced. Definitely a good investment for home charging.
