So far seems to be working well but I just put it in yesterday. You can set it plug and charge so it just starts soon as you plug it in or set a timer. It uses the SmartLife app, I already had it for some outlets and current monitor. Soon as I opened the app it asked if I wanted to add a new device, so setup only took 10 seconds. And it will work fine without the app just as a basic charger. Only downside I noticed was the outlet plug is molded onto the cable and not replaceable, so if you need to replace it for a different outlet style you will need to chop it off.

This thing is awesome! I wanted a level 2 charger that has a built-in holder for the charging handle, a place to coil the cord, that is UL listed and not too expensive. This one fits the bill, and after several months of trouble free charging, I am a very satisfied customer! Installation was easy, thanks to the supplied fastener template, and it appears to be well made. It also consistently charges my car at the full 32 amps it will take. I was surprised at how much I had to spend for the 50' of 3/4" flex conduit, 6-4 with ground cable and industrial socket I needed for the self install, but at least I already had the 50 amp GFCI breaker from a hot tub I used to have. Btw - I especially like the display that tells me how many amps the charger is delivering in real time. It goes to 32 amps almost immediately.

I love the product. Very simple right out of the box. Plug it in, connect it to your car, and you're charging. The device is great. Where I took a star off is with regards to app integration. I see nowhere either on the app or the device on how to get the app to recognize the charger. I just can't connect to it. And the device doesn't have any way I can see to turn on bluetooth or wifi. Besides the app just not seeing the device, it works great as a stand-alone. The numbers they state are real. It just works.

I ran a 50amp EV 230v plug in my garage with 8ga wire on a 40amp breaker. I set this to charge at 38amps and all is well. It runs perfect and charges about 10% every 50min. Nothing gets hot and the app is very nice and easy to use. I would buy this again for a 40amp level 2 charger.

Bought this since it has a safety certification listed and didn't want to risk anything here. So far, this charger is absolutely wonderful! In the App, you can set times it can charge, amperage to charge at, when to turn off, and can be programmed like this with many different optional parameters. I just signed up for my electric company's electric charging incentive program where I get cheaper electricity between midnight and 6am. With this, my already cheap fuel is even cheaper! I definitely would recommend this charger!

The good, Cable seemed high quality charge cable was 25ft long and was flexible. No issues with the connector and the mounting hole for storage is nice installation was not hard and setup with app and wifi were not bad. The strain relief isn't the best for the power going in and it was difficult to find a sealtite connector for the mains going in Charging is what it says it is set it for 24 amp was supplying 23.9 amps read 23.7amps on a clamp meter so good. No issues running overnight. The bad, There is no way this is ip66 rated within two days the adhesive on the faceplate by the display was starting to come off and there was water condensing on the face plate. Used some silicone to reattach the faceplate and hopefully restore some water resistance but that should not happen in 90* weather. Im working on installing it into a actual waterproof enclosure. That alone is enough to knock 3 stars off. Charger sometimes gets amnesia and looses the charging limits. This is on a 30 amp circuit so I want it to stay at 24 amps I seems to every so often forget. Also charger gets warm inside internal tempeture says about 131 it's mounted somewhere with afternoon sun outside but still that's quite warm it seems.

Please if you are asking about what EV charger to get this is by far the one. I had my permitted. The app is very simple and easy to place on phone and just go.
