Easy to setup and use. One issue is the cord, they could have used welding cord which much more tflexible but it would have increased cost. For the money this is very good. One thing get a cover, melt a whole where charger hole is and use it as even though it has the proper EU and NEMA ratings a little protection never hurts ... show more

What a great product! It works flawlessly with my 2024 Equinox EV. Clean, simple and reliable. Easy installation and plenty of cord length. By utilizing the delay charging I can charge overnight and take advantage of reduced electricity rates with off-peak prices.

The original wires were too thick to pass through the factory knockout holes on my specific breaker panel, so I sourced matching high-grade copper conductors to guarantee a safe, flush, and customized clean fit.Key Specs & Real-World Performance EV Charger: Romaa Level 2 Smart EVSE with built-in CCID20 safety detection. I love it so far and haven't even used it through the app since I use the car app. Very simple plug and play with built in safety. It seems very well made and the install was a breeze.

Not bad but not for outdoor use
The good, Cable seemed high quality charge cable was 25ft long and was flexible. No issues with the connector and the mounting hole for storage is nice installation was not hard and setup with app and wifi were not bad. The strain relief isn't the best for the power going in and it was difficult to find a sealtite connector for the mains going in Charging is what it says it is set it for 24 amp was supplying 23.9 amps read 23.7amps on a clamp meter so good. No issues running overnight. The bad, There is no way this is ip66 rated within two days the adhesive on the faceplate by the display was starting to come off and there was water condensing on the face plate. Used some silicone to reattach the faceplate and hopefully restore some water resistance but that should not happen in 90* weather. Im working on installing it into a actual waterproof enclosure. That alone is enough to knock 3 stars off. Charger sometimes gets amnesia and looses the charging limits. This is on a 30 amp circuit so I want it to stay at 24 amps I seems to every so often forget. Also charger gets warm inside internal tempeture says about 131 it's mounted somewhere with afternoon sun outside but still that's quite warm it seems. ... show more

This thing is awesome! I wanted a level 2 charger that has a built-in holder for the charging handle, a place to coil the cord, that is UL listed and not too expensive. This one fits the bill, and after several months of trouble free charging, I am a very satisfied customer! Installation was easy, thanks to the supplied fastener template, and it appears to be well made. It also consistently charges my car at the full 32 amps it will take. I was surprised at how much I had to spend for the 50' of 3/4" flex conduit, 6-4 with ground cable and industrial socket I needed for the self install, but at least I already had the 50 amp GFCI breaker from a hot tub I used to have. Btw - I especially like the display that tells me how many amps the charger is delivering in real time. It goes to 32 amps almost immediately. ... show more
