I'm new to EVs and this was perfect for me. I am using it to charge my 2022 MINI SE. It has the bells and whistles that I need and my MINI likes it. I had a professional install my charging outlet and this charger as well. It comes with a nice carrying case. I have not yet tried it outside my home.

The schedule function works and it seems well made. 4 stars because the notification is hit and miss. I have it set to notify me when it starts charging but it rarely does. Not a big deal since my car app notifies me every time. You also cannot delete previous schedules. You can turn them off but the screen gets cluttered.

I wanted to use this EV charger for a while before leaving a review so I could make sure it consistently performed as well as it did on day one, and I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations. It has been super easy to use, very straightforward to set up, and extremely durable with a solid, well built feel that gives me confidence every time I plug it in. One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility and efficiency it offers. Being able to adjust the current from 10A all the way up to 40A through the LCD screen or app makes it incredibly convenient depending on the situation. At higher settings it delivers fast 240V Level 2 charging that adds 30 plus miles per hour, which has completely changed how I plan my charging routine and removed a lot of range anxiety. The 25 foot cable reach has also been a huge plus. It gives me the freedom to charge anywhere around my garage or driveway without worrying about being too close to the outlet. The full 27 foot design and NEMA 14 50 plug make it easy to plug in and go, and the included travel bag is actually useful since I can easily take it with me on road trips or when I need charging on the go. I love the display it makes everything easier. I also really appreciate the smart features. The app lets me monitor charging, adjust current, track electricity usage, calculate costs, and even set delayed charging for off peak hours which helps save money. The ability to schedule charging between 2 and 8 hours in advance adds even more convenience to daily use. Safety and build quality are clearly a priority with this unit. One star because 0 stars wasn't an option. The manufacturer should post the installation specifications for potential buyers. In addition, the first three pages of the user manual are all warnings and cautions. It has rigid requirements that may preclude usage for your vehicle, especially if you already have an existing NEMA14-15 socket. In addition, the manufacturer's website claims the model I purchased can handle demanding environments but the manual contradicts actual usage and storage and I don't even have extreme weather conditions. I also found the software didn't work at all, negating the smart features that'll tempt you to purchase a product but if it doesn't connect to wi-fi then local incentives for EV chargers won't be available to you. Further, the software couldn't even adjust to my Samsung phone's larger display. Of course, you have to create an account and register but since it doesn't work, I'm thinking my data will show up on thedark web soon. Besides all of the preceding, if you run into those problems before going on the road, how portable, let alone how reliable, could someone expect the product to be? My suggestion is that if you want a product that works right out of the box, forget it. Find another product.

The timetable feature appears to be well-made and operates. The notification is inconsistent, so it receives four stars. Although I have it configured to alert me when it begins charging, it seldom ever does. Since my car app always alerts me, it is not a huge concern. Additionally, you are unable to remove earlier schedules. They can be turned off, but doing so clutters the screen. The AIXINE Level 2 EV Charger WiFi APP Plug-Charge, J1772 40 A with 25 ft cable has a clean, simple-to-install design with a metal wall dock and cable holder, and it seems really well constructed. The 25-foot J1772 chord is strong and flexible enough to reach the majority of parking spaces without effort, and the little design unit looks fantastic hung in a garage or perched on a camping table. I can keep the charger ready for road trips or RV camping because the supplied travel bag makes it easy to load everything in the car. When the device is powered on, the companion app unlocks deeper features like viewing cumulative kWh, remotely adjusting amps, checking charging history, and receiving completed-charge notifications. On the other hand, the unit greets me with three on-screen options: setting the maximum current up to 40 A in this 40 A module, scheduling a charging time window, and performing a device reset. The J1772 plug features a release button that smoothly separates the charging head when using an adapter such as the J1772 to Tesla, the touch screen is responsive, and the brilliant LED display is vibrant and easy to read. My home setup has benefited greatly from the inclusion of this charger. I was struck by the overall quality and attention to detail as soon as I opened the gift. Nothing about the charger seems shoddy; it seems robust and well-engineered. The installation process was simple, and I valued the clear and simple directions. I was able to get things up and running quickly and without any hassle because the setup process was really straightforward. The charger has been operating without a hitch ever since. I have not experienced any technical problems or charging disruptions, and it regularly and successfully charges my car every time. The connector seems safe and long-lasting when plugged in, and the cable is strong but flexible enough to grasp easily. Additionally, I appreciate how easy the charger is to use overall because it makes charging every day a breeze. Knowing that my car is charging effectively and safely every time I use it is comforting. I believe this charger is an excellent value and a wise decision for anyone who owns an EV because of its quality, dependability, and simplicity of usage.

I purchased the AIXINE Level 2 EV Charger as a backup for my vacation home, but it has now become my primary unit at my main residence. Physically, the quality is impressive, and it reliably charges my 2025 ID.4 Pro S without any issues. The 25ft cable provides great versatility for my garage setup, and the unit feels durable. Unfortunately, the app experience is a complete disaster. I spent over a week trying to get it to connect, enduring endless factory resets and reinstallations, all to no avail. It works fine if you just plug it in, but the smart features are nonexistent. Also, wish the cord that connectes to the wall outlet was a little longer.
