I bought this to charge my 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T Plus in my apartment parking garage. My apartment only had NEMA 6-50 plug so I had to buy an adapter, but this charger works excellent. It does not get too hot, the quality of the plug and the thickness of the cable makes me feel like it will last a long time. It is rated for 40A but my car only allows 32A, but not to worry this charger automatically adjusts the power output and I wake up every morning with a fully charged car. I believe my car's battery is about 33kWh and this charger can go from 0-100% in about 2 hours. It also has a timer feature but I have not tried it since I don't pay for the electricity. The charger came with a very nice carrying case and a wall holder for both the charger body and the plug itself. The plug also has a nice rubber cover to keep it dry. I like that I can throw it in my trunk if I travel somewhere else and could charge there. I was somewhat worried about buying something that is generic to handle something as dangerous as charging a car, but nowadays everything is made in China, so even the much more expensive name brands are probably the same thing with a different label. Get it now before the ding dong in charge raises the tariffs again.

WONDERFUL EV charging cord. I have a 2023 Kia Sportage hybrid plug-in. The charging cord that came with the vehicle was lightweight and started to act up. Stopped by Kia dealership, they could tell me a new one for over $1200!!!!! Bought this one online and had it delivered within two days. It is incredible! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Its heavyweight (which I love ), has an adapter for level 1 or level 2 charging. And charges in half the time of the previous dealer provided cord. I'm so glad I didn't waste my money buying the $1200 cord from Kia! LOVE this product!!

I bought this to charge my BMW X5 453 PHEV. The length is nice. I can plug it in and run the cable to either side of the vehicle, no problem. My only complaint is that it feels a little cheap when inserting and removing it. Like, it's kind of flimsy or something. That's why four stars instead of five. But it works good enough that I kept it. Although if I could find a better one down the road, I'll keep this one inside the vehicle to use while traveling.

Have been using for ~6 weeks. LOVE it! Runs at 39kw for us (so 40) and charges out Genesis GV70 from about 20% to 100% on about 7 hours give or take running at 9.3 kWH for the most part (so the math works out as it should). We have not 'dumbed it down; charging speed wise as we don't need to but I am sure it would work fine. Feature we like, and pleasantly surprised with, is the display provides the kWh used each time you charge so we can calculate the true cost of charging at home over a year etc as opposed to the estimate we had been using with our Level 1 charger; very pleased!

After using it a few times, I noticed that the charger gets noticeably warm after a while, which makes me concerned about safety. While I haven't had any accidents so far, the temperature makes me hesitant to use it for extended periods. I often have to check the charger while charging at night, which is worrying. Safety needs to be improved. 😟
