I bought it as a backup for road trips, but it’s so reliable that I’ve started using it at home too. The LED display is super helpful — I can see voltage, amperage, and charging status at a glance. The current‑adjustable feature is a lifesaver when I’m plugging into different outlets. I tested both the NEMA 14‑50 plug and the NEMA 5‑15 adapter, and both worked smoothly. This is my second betumoda EV charger and I like them both. I keep this one in my car for travel and my other is my at home charger. The charger that came with my car kept overheating and shutting off so I had to replace it. The Betumoda charger was well priced and adjustable so I tried it out. I am glad I did, and I am glad I got a second. I have been using their chargers for about 6 months now and had no issues with it. No issues with overheating or anything. The LED screen shows how much I've charged, at what speed, and for how long. I charge about 3kwh per hour at home, which is a nice sweet spot for me. I can leave it plugged in overnight and not worry. The charger is well built and feels solid. cord length is just under 25 feet, which must be a customs thing. It is plenty long for me. It is a thick cord as well so no worries of it fraying or becoming damaged.

BETUMODA Level 2 EV Charger, 40A, 24.99 ft, 110V-240V, Charging Stations with LED Display Absolutely no complaints about this product. It comes well-organized in a zippered case. It worked perfectly right out of the box, charging a Kia Niro rental and later our son's Mach E. The only thing we haven't tried yet is the timer/delay feature but I expect that will work as advertised. It does charge really fast on level 2 settings which I really like.

I got this to charge my model Y when we go camping. I like that it gives you all the charging stats on the main display. The cables definitely seem heavy duty on this and I couldn't feel any hot or warm spots on the cables after about an hour of charging my car. This is quite a bit larger than a Tesla mobile charger, but the Tesla mobile is limited to 32A where as this will go up to 40A. Downside is having to use a J1772 to NACS adaptor though. There's enough EVs coming to market with NACS ports that I wish they would make a version of this with a NACS plug. I don't think this charger is weatherproof at all, so not the best for outdoor charging. However I did use it during some rain and just had a plastic bag wrapped around the unit to keep it dry and I didn't have any problems. For the cost, this seems like a good option for a budget charger if you need a spare for charging away from home. But for at home routine charging, I would still go with a hardwired level 2 charger.

I’ve been using this charger daily on my Ford Mach-E, and after a couple of initial user-error hiccups, it’s been working flawlessly. It now consistently charges faster than my OEM charger. Build quality & cord: The cord feels significantly more robust than stock and has plenty of length for convenient parking. Storage: It’s a bit bulkier due to the extra cord length and girth, but the included carrying bag is excellent — it holds everything neatly and fits perfectly in my frunk with room to spare. I love the adjustable amperage so I can dial it in for different situations (I typically run it at 40 amps). The included 110V adapter is a nice bonus for travel or emergency top-ups when a 240V outlet isn’t available. I don’t use the timer function, but the straightforward plug-and-charge operation works great for me. Pro tip: set your amperage before plugging in your car; I changed it while charging to test the function and got a charging error that I missed until it was time to leave work. Overall, this charger feels more heavy-duty than the factory one while adding real versatility. Highly recommended if you want faster charging and better build quality in a portable unit so i gave it 5-stars.

This charger hasbeen straightforward and performed well from day one. I have had zero issues or concerns. Plug it in, connect to the car, and it starts charging without any weird errors or disconnects. It’s been reliable every time I’ve used it. As far as build quality goes, the entire unit actually looks and feels better than I expected for the price. The cable is thick and fairly stiff (in a durable way rather than a cheap way). The plug pops in firmly and doesn’t feel loose or so tight that it feels like it may cause damage. The display/controller box is well sealed and doesn’t show any gaps, and the display is super easy to read at a glance. It doesn’t get unusually hot, even during long charging sessions. The cord is long enough that I don’t have to do any trick parking, which I REALLY appreciate, and charging speed is excellent. This is a great find.
