This level two charger puts out good power so an overnight charge is possible from half full or even a little bit below in an ionic 5. Quality is excellent and there's no overheating at the plug or at the control unit. Installation is simple because it just plugs into the Nema wall outlet. 32 amps is small enough to be on a 40 amp breaker just like your dryer, easiest thing to do is split it off of your dryer plug if that's in the garage. It works great and connects well with the car. And it's not very heavy so it could be portable but keep in mind you need that 220 outlet. It's not expensive and it's very high quality making it a good value for money. Overall it works very well.

I have a Jeep 4xe plug in hybrid and have been using the factory standard charger for a year. It takes 12 hours to charge the battery completely. I ordered this level 2 charger and we finally got it all wired up on its own breaker. It charges in less than 2 hours! It mounts on the wall, which is nice and the connector that plugs in can mount on the wall separately. The display base part is mounted inside my garage with the connector mounted outside the garage. It’s so easy to use, it displays the power it’s drawing in real time. And you can adjust the power it uses as well. It seems durable, high quality and works just as it should. It fits any J1772 connection so it’s compatible with most plug in cars. For less than $200, it’s a great value! As long as it holds up for a while. Highly recommend.

The Seguma level 2 charger really solves my problem of using my old dryer plug to charge my EV. I got this Seguma level 2 charger so that I can utilize the electric dryer plug to charge my car and set the amperage. The circuit breaker was installed for dryers levels1 and my car wants to pull higher than the circuit breaker and wiring was set up for. The main feature I got this for is that I can set the amperage. The cable that came with my car could not do that and would just pull maximum. I didn't want to do expensive electrical work and just wanted a simple solution and this does the trick. The charger is super-heavy duty. The cables are really thick; the connectors feel heavy and everything feels strong and sturdy. The cables are long but also very thick and so no electrical issues of overheating and other problems. Compared to my OEM charger, this just feels next level heavy-duty. It also comes with a case that nicely holds the cables and also a wall mount kit. Given how unwieldy and thick the cables are, it's so good to have the case to keep everything organized.

I’ve been using this 32-amp Level 2 charger at home, powering it through a NEMA 14-50 outlet on a dedicated circuit. Setup is simple - plug in, select the desired amperage, and the charger is ready. The adjustable current settings are useful when sharing a circuit with other high-draw appliances. I regularly run it at 24A during the day and the full 32A at night, and the charger transitions smoothly without tripping or overheating. Charging performance has been excellent. At 32A, my EV consistently gains around 25 miles of range per hour, and the charging curve stays stable with no mid-session throttling. Voltage readings on the display are accurate, and wattage output stays steady. The 25-foot cable reaches every corner of my driveway and remains flexible even in cold weather. The handle locks securely into the charge port and releases cleanly without sticking. The delay-timer function is practical for time-of-use billing. I’ve been able to schedule charging to begin during off-peak hours, and the charger starts exactly at the programmed time every night. This Level 2 EV charger is very easy to use and if there is a already a 240V outlet, all you have to do is plug it in and start charging. It is great to take with you if you travel, as it is easy to use. The cable is a great length at 25 feet. It is enough to reach with some left over. This also comes with a carrying case, which adds to its portability. I like that the screen shows you your current amperage, as that gives you an idea of how long it is going to take to get a full charge. If you are getting the full amperage form the outlet, this charges pretty fast, which makes it perfect for overnight charging. You can also delay start the charging process, which makes it easy to set it and forget it till morning. If you travel and want to take a charger with you, this one is reliable and user friendly.
