I’ve been using the VDLPOWERVP Level 1 & 2 portable EV charger for a few weeks now, and it’s honestly exceeded all expectations. Whether I’m charging at home or on the go, this thing just works—fast, safe, and super convenient. The Level 2 charging speed (240V, 16A) is no joke—it’s about 4x faster than my old Level 1 charger, and it makes a noticeable difference when I need a quick top-up. Even the Level 1 option is handy when I’m visiting family or staying somewhere without a dedicated outlet. This charger is a great choice to have if you want to charge your plug-in hybrid vehicle either using a 120V or 240V socket. Charging it at 120V, it takes approximately 5 1/2 hours to fully charge. If you have 240V power outlet for this charger, it will shorten the charging time by half to fully charge. I bought this for the faster 240V charging of a 2017 Prius Prime (PHEV). I want to be able to use it wherever I go, so the 120V capability was necessary too. The charger works with 120V using the supplied adapter. The cord that plugs into the wall is long enough to take stress off the plug while the charger rests on the ground. Overall, it's been a great product to use and I highly recommend it if you like the idea of charging your vehicle at home and you need a spare or replacement.

my standard charger that came with car is dead so I bought this as my L1 travel charger but this also can be very handy to have in your home, it can act as a L2 charger and provide 3.5Kw constant power, that is almost 3.5-4X the L1 charger, it would not be as fast as a 50 Amp charger for sure but if you are not in a rush it can charge your fully over the night when connected to a 220v plug. I love the fact it support both 110v and 220v so you don't have to have two chargers for different use cases. I had no issue with overheating. I would suggest it to you if you have a EV considering many EVs don't come with portable chargers anymore

My manufacturer's original dual cable that came with the new car purchase died. I tried one replacement and it was too complicated, required to use their App to charge the vehicle. I just wanted a simple fast charge cable. This product is exactly what I wanted, so simple, nothing fancy and half the price of their comparable cables. I am so pleased and highly recommend this product.

Works flawlessly. I purchased the 32 Amp version and the app shows consistent charging. Appears solidly built (I’ve used it 6 times only, so far) and the button to open the charging port is convenient. I’m very satisfied; good value for the money, replacing an original Tesla one that failed.
