I bought this to simply have in the trunk of my EV at all times just as like a backup or to be able to charge. Sometimes I had a friend’s house or just random places and definitely was a great buy as it’s extremely durable and high-quality all around and a great value, especially considering it has great functionality like the simple fact you can charge it both 110 or on a bigger outlet which works out great especially the way I’m using it cause you never know what you might have available and the fact that included the adapter was a nice bonus making this and even better value in my opinion and to my surprise, the super long cord length was super long, which also makes it so much easier to use all around and I even love the really high quality case it comes with as it makes storing it in my trunk and traveling with it very easy without taking up much room at all, and even the case is surprisingly very durable keep in mind the charging speed of this particular unit isn’t going to be incredibly fast or anything as it is only 16 A but it certainly does help. I mean prime example was just a few weekends ago. I was over at a friend’s house and ended up staying much later than I expected so they just told me I should simply stay. The night instead of having to drive all the way home, which I decided to do which is when I got this out and plugged it in and it actually almost gave me the exact amount of charge I needed to get home which was perfect although it’s not like I was on 0% or anything but regardless, if I didn’t have it, I would’ve had enough charge to basically go straight home but after using it and allowed me to make a couple stops on my way home and run a few errands, which was nice. Really the perfect charger to have while traveling or it’s basically as a backup and for the price you simply can’t go wrong.

Why I Ordered This I purchased this charger to use with my spouse’s Nissan Kicks. How handy is this cord?? This thing is very heavy duty yet somehow convincingly light enough to keep in my car if I were to ever need it for a rainy day. I already have permanent wall charging, but you never know where you will be to get a quick top off. I tried using it in my wall connection, and it worked without any problems. Simple to use, easy enough. Should work with any charger that accepts a J1773 connection and compatible with nearly any NEMA 15-50 plug. Just be sure you know how many amps you are able to run on that line!

I got this charger mainly to keep in the garage as a backup for my EV, and the first thing I noticed was the cable length. The 25 foot cord gives a lot more flexibility when parking, especially if the outlet is not right next to the charging port. I no longer have to park in a very specific spot just to make the cable reach. Setup is simple. Just plug it into the outlet, connect it to the car, and it starts charging. The display is clear and easy to read, so it is simple to check the charging status at a glance. The build quality feels solid.
