For the price can’t go wrong. Charges a Tesla (needs an adapter) pretty fast from 15% to 80% about 3.5hrs. Also charge a full size Chevy Silverado EV from 20% to 80% takes about 11 hrs.

The cord is NOT 28’ long - it is 25’ long, just like every other charger cord out there. They are adding the 3’ of cord that goes from the wall box to the plug, BUT THIS DOES NOT GIVE YOU 28’ OF CORD FROM THE CHARGER TO THE CAR! So sick of misrepresentations like this! I bought this specifically for the extra advertised 3 feet of cord.

Easy to install cost effective level 2 charging. No bluetooth WiFi or timers. Just a functional charger with light and emergency stop button. Bit for everyday usage seems to work as it should.

I opened the case to confirm that all of its components are up to the task of handling 32 amps, and it’s all good inside. Even tested the GFCI feature and that works too. Unfortunately, you don’t get any kind of data, such as volts, amps, watts, kWh... because there’s no display. You also cannot increase or reduce the current through dip switches or jumpers. It’s 32 amps only. There are other downsides. The cable is a little cumbersome, especially in cold weather, due to its PVC jacket. The J1772 connector feels flimsy. The wall box is bulky, considering how empty it is, though it is easy to mount and waterproof. And it’s not exactly great value for money. For the same price, there are other EVSEs with higher current ratings and more features. Still, since EVSEs are basically just extension cords anyway, this one works fine.

This isn't a fancy charger with wifi/bluetooth, LCD screens or any similar features. It's just a simple charger that you plug into your vehicle to charge. It charges at a maximum of 32 amps and has a NEMA 14-50 plug. There is a colored LED light on the unit to let you know that it's charging, but if you want more info you'll need to obtain that from your vehicle. Hooked it up to a 2019 Chevrolet Bolt and it immediately began charging without issue.

Alright, so I picked this up for my 2024 Tesla Model Y, and honestly, it's been a solid addition to the garage. For what it costs, it definitely gets the job done. This Level 2 charger plugs right into a 240V outlet and juices up my car way faster than the standard plug – which is a lifesaver when you're using your EV every day. One thing I really appreciate is the super long cable. At 28 feet, it gives me a ton of wiggle room whether I park in the driveway or pull into the garage a little wonky. Plus, it's the standard J1772 plug, so I know it'll work if I ever switch cars down the line. It's also got those safety certifications, which is always reassuring. The thing feels pretty sturdy too, like it can handle being outside if needed. Now, it's not perfect. They say it's portable, and while you could technically move it, it's not exactly something you'd want to lug around all the time. One of my best friends has an electric vehicle and I wanted to get them a gift that would be useful as well as versatile and when I was looking around, I saw this and decided it was a great fit because of how it was made to connect to a broad range of different hybrid or electric vehicles including Teslas I thought the price was fair for what you get and one of the best things about this particular product is the functionality as well as the build quality. Installation couldn't be easier you simply plug it in and with the very elongated chord length it is very convenient to be able to plug into the vehicle to start charging. With the enclosed adapter this is a great gift because it takes the thinking out of whether or not this will fit some one's electric vehicle or hybrid because it can connect to both The easy-to-read display screen and indicators make things that much easier to identify how much of a charge you have how much of a charge is needed which is a great feature and makes it simple to use.
