This is a 16a NACS (Tesla) EV Charger. It is slightly smaller than the OEM mobile charger and has an adjustable button on the front that allows you to manually set the amperage used. This charger comes with a NEMA 6-20P plug on the end with an included adapter to use a regular home 110v outlet (5-15P). The NACS handle on this charger has a button on it that will open your charge port (at least on a Tesla). I did notice that if I use the button to stop charging, it has a tendency to keep the lock in place and start charging again. I had to press it twice to full stop charging and disengage the lock so I could remove the handle. When using the default configuration the charger will map out at 16amp (240v) using the 6-20P plug, generating 3kw of power. When using the 110v adapter, it negotiated down to 12amp for me, with 1kw of power being sent to the car. Overall, this item does produce the power I was expecting and will make a great travel charger to keep in my frunk. I have already picked up a NEMA 14-50R to 6-20P adapter so that I can leverage the full 240v charging at places like RV parks. If you own an EV that is NACS compatible, I'd encourage you to look into this as a cheaper alternative to the Tesla mobile charger.

This Tesla charger can provide relatively fast charging speeds. In my tests, using a 240V outlet significantly reduced the charging time, allowing my Tesla Model Y to be fully charged in a shorter period. The charger comes with a NEMA 6-20 plug and a 5-15P adapter, making it versatile for use with different voltages and outlet types. My garage has a 240V NEMA 6-20 outlet, so using the NEMA 6-20 plug directly is very convenient. When I need to charge at a friend's house or other locations with only 110V outlets, the 5-15P adapter works perfectly, eliminating the need to purchase additional adapters. The portability of this charger is one of my favorite features. It has a moderate weight and includes a 21-foot extension cord, making it easy to use without being restricted by distance. Whether at home, in the garage, or on a trip, I can easily find a suitable outlet for charging. The charger's compact design also makes it convenient to carry and store.
