I’ve been using this EnergBison Level 1 & 2 portable EV charger for a few weeks, and it’s been very reliable so far. I like that it works on both 110V and 240V, so I can charge at home or take it with me when traveling. The 25-foot cable is a good length and feels thick and well-made. The app is a nice bonus. It lets me check charging status, set a timer, and adjust the current, which is helpful for charging overnight or during off-peak hours. The screen on the charger itself is clear and easy to read, showing amps, voltage, and charging time. Charging speed is what I expected for a 16A unit, and it stays consistent without getting hot. It also comes with a carrying bag, which makes it easy to store in the trunk. Setup was simple—plug and play with no issues. Overall, this is a great portable charger if you want flexibility, smart features, and solid build quality at a reasonable price.

I am very pleased with this charger for several reasons. I have a Chevy Volt which uses the J1772 plug. I have been using the factory charging cable which doesn't have any additional features. This charger on the other hand has many features and functionality. Some of those features are WiFi. In order to use WiFi you download the SmartLife app or the Tuya app. These apps seem to be linked with the same features and devices. I use the Tuya app for other things, so I used the Tuya app. To connect, I just opened the Tuya app and it asked me if I wanted to connect the charger. That was it, super easy! Another feature is a display on the charger that shows you temp, voltage, amps, kWh, and time connected. The cord that this charger uses is much heavier duty cord than the factory unit. In addition, this comes with a NEMA 6-20 plug. If I had a 240v circuit I could charge my Chevy Volt at three times the speed it currently charges! The charger looks great and is very heavy duty and is feature rich. This gives it a great bang for the buck!

This is my new favorite charger! I got this to use and a backup but it has now become my primary since it has way more features than my previous primary charger. This charger has so many functions that I am able to control right from my phone. I am able to stop and start charging, schedule a charge, change the power output, and look at the power output right from the app that pairs with this charger. It’s also 25 feet long and just installs by plugging into a standard outlet. The cable is extremely durable and works perfectly well in extreme cold and hot conditions. I am able to use it as a level 2 wherever there is an accommodating outlet to do so. It does provide ample charge to my vehicle under level 1 and takes about 1.5 days to fully charge from zero to 100%. I really love this charger since I can control it from anywhere and not have to go outside to fiddle with it. With the features it has, it makes it an excellent value and I highly recommend it!

This is a decent portable charger for level 1 and level 2 EV battery charging. It charges at 16 amps maximum on 240 volts. There is a digital readout on the charging cable that shows time on charge, volts, amps, kWh added to battery, and status of WiFi and Bluetooth. The cable itself gets a little warm during charging, but it has not experienced any malfunctioning. The total time to charge shows different on the charger than it is does in the app for my car. The cable readout shows 2:34:55 time on charge, which put the battery at 100% charge, with 9.6 kWh added. The Lincoln app for my car shows a time on charge of 3:21, which replenished 8.5 kWh to the battery to end at 100%. I am not sure which one is correct. The important thing is the car gets charged to 100%, which this charger accomplished. The charger is capable of WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity for remote control from a phone app. I was able to pretty easily connect the charger to the Smart life app via WiFi, but instructions for Bluetooth are nowhere to be found in the manual. I never did get Bluetooth to connect. All in all a decent product for a decent price.

This portable EV charger has juiced up our car reliably these days, with the app control making it simple to set timers from the couch. It plugs into standard outlets, and the long cable reaches our driveway spot easy. Adjustable current means I can slow it for overnight without tripping breakers. One non obvious thing, the WiFi connects stable even through walls, no drops during use. We charge mostly evenings after work, but in a pinch, it's great for quick boosts. Con, the plug adapters can get warm, so ventilate. As a video game loving dad, I set it while playing, no interruptions. For EV owners, this charger proves essential, flexible and smart. Just watch for app glitches on first setup.

The long cable gives you plenty of flexibility in the driveway or garage. Functionally, it does exactly what you want.
