The charger appears well made. The charging cable is thick and heavy. The charger is ready to go out of the box. I installed the provided wall mount in just a few minutes, plugged it into my 240 volt outlet and had my truck charging at 40 amps in less than 15 minutes. The readout display is bright and easy to read. It provides the temperature of the unit, charging rate, time on charge and other information at a glance. I have used it twice this week and am very satisfied so far especially given the price of this unit. Hopefully, it will be durable but I obviously can’t say as I’ve only had a few days and used it twice.

Solid product and have been using for 3+ months with no issues. Simple design so easy to deploy with really no "installation" required. Didn't even have to wall-mount the unit.

I bought this to charge my 2024 Dodge Hornet R/T Plus in my apartment parking garage. My apartment only had NEMA 6-50 plug so I had to buy an adapter, but this charger works excellent. It does not get too hot, the quality of the plug and the thickness of the cable makes me feel like it will last a long time. It is rated for 40A but my car only allows 32A, but not to worry this charger automatically adjusts the power output and I wake up every morning with a fully charged car. I believe my car's battery is about 33kWh and this charger can go from 0-100% in about 2 hours. It also has a timer feature but I have not tried it since I don't pay for the electricity. The charger came with a very nice carrying case and a wall holder for both the charger body and the plug itself. The plug also has a nice rubber cover to keep it dry. I like that I can throw it in my trunk if I travel somewhere else and could charge there. I was somewhat worried about buying something that is generic to handle something as dangerous as charging a car, but nowadays everything is made in China, so even the much more expensive name brands are probably the same thing with a different label. Get it now before the ding dong in charge raises the tariffs again.

I like this charger a lot. The ability to set the amperage makes it very versatile. Currently I have it plugged into a dryer outlet in my home. The breaker amperage for that circuit is 30 amps. I could run this charger at 24 amps continuously, but I noticed when doing so, the breaker and wire feeding the outlet became warm to the touch, so I dialed it back to 20 amps and now nothing gets above room temperature. The wiring outlet and charger all stay cool. And since the charging cable is rated for up to 40 amps, carrying 20 should be no problem for it. Even set to 20 amps, I’m still getting a 5kwh charging rate which is almost 4x faster than the regular 120v charging cables.
