We were having the most trouble with our previous charger (flipping the breaker, and the plug was getting so hot that I was worried it would catch on fire!). I needed to try something new, and thankfully I saw this here on Amazon. It has been a lifesaver. We have an older Nissan Leaf that my daughter drives to and from school. I work at the same school, and it's about 30 minutes away from our house, so I didn't want to have to pay for two gas bills every month, and we can't drive together, unfortunately. The charging is slow (we have to leave it on all night for a full charge), but it works! and, it plugs into the 110 with no converter needed.

I was disappointed that with 120v it only has 12 amp output. Advertised as 16 amps but that is only if you use 240 volts. That was not clear in advertisement.
