I bought this after an electrician told me it would cost $11,000 to install a level 2 charger in my garage. (I needed a bigger circuit box, then a trench to run the wire underground to the garage, then an appropriate outlet). This was clearly outrageous, so I decided to make a $100 bet that a level 1 charger would charge my car enough each day. Sure enough; I have a 2022 Nissan leaf with 40kw, and I use about half the battery each day. I plug it when I get home and I’m fully charged by the time I leave the next morning. The plug is hearty and easy to use. The cord is heavy duty and long enough that I can reach the outlet without parking in the garage. The box lights up to tell me it started charging and tells me how long I’ve charged for, how much power the outlet has and so on. I fully recommend this if you, like me, can’t install a level 2 charger.

Works perfectly on my truck. I found that even if set for 16amps, it still charges at 11amps. After lots of experimentation, I believe it is the truck that decides the current and the Level 1 / Level 2 charges just provide advice. (If that makes any sense). Fantastic charger! I keep it around as a sacrificial charger for charging in risky places where theft might be an issue or when I visit relatives. Plugs easily into a normal house hold outlet and gives 1kw and hour to the truck. Helps top off from 90% (super charger) to 100% when traveling and staying at hotels. Also lets me warm the truck up and condition the battery via departure mode without using battery. Recommended!

I recently got a new EV, only to learn that the movement now is for OEM manufacturers to longer include EVSE equipment for you to charge. Needless to say it feel like a rush to find a quality product to replace what I was expecting would come with the car. Enter the Lvl 1 charger from EVGOER. Biggest item, it works and is as effective as I could have hoped for. Second, but equally big, item... it has a simple but easy to understand interface that allows you to adjust the energy current being pulled from the outlet. I have an older home, so it is great to be able to adjust the current to a lower setting, to ensure I am not overtaxing my wiring. Overall - A great option at a great price to meet the needs of a new EV owner The included case is great, too!

When we first got it the temperature reading was off, but after using it for awhile, it seems to have started reporting a more believable temperature. It shows the charging amps at 11 when set to 12 and 15 when set to 16, but does charge my car and still works after 2.5 months

I have always wanted a backup charger for my car. I wanted to keep one of these chargers in the car just in case. This one is solidly made and fits my car very well through my adapter. It charges faster than the original one. I have no complaints. So far, so good.

Cost efficient charget using both 110V and 240V. Industrial standard Nema 6-20 plug which is able to handle 20amps, 14.5A realistically, ending up to be 3.5kw charging. It is enough to charge my Tesla overnight or my XC90 in a few hours. I used the included nail and mounted it to the wall, you can buy a separated cord hanger and it will look just like a wall mounted charging station except 1/3 of the price. Also the cord is long enough to reach to the back of the garage. I can’t testify how portable it is, the cord definitely feels thicker and higher quality compared to the one comes with my Volvo.
