I bought this for my very first Apple Watch and it feels like a regular watch! I normally wear rugged watches like GShock, and bang my wrist everywhere without worry. When I first wore my Apple Watch, I used the fabric band it came with and found myself banging my wrist against walls, and didn't want to scratch or damage my watch. I found this, and I don't have to worry about damaging my watch as much. It offers full protection around the body of the watch, and I bought my own screen protector. I saw some people complaining that it didn't come with a screen protector and were upset to find out when it arrived, but all they have to do is read and find out it doesn't come with any! Not that hard to read... It feels a bit harder than a G-Shock band, but it feels like it will last a long time!

This is an outstanding general purpose watch band. Looks “tough” without being obnoxious. This is my second purchase, so I feel I can speak to its durability. The first one lasted me three years of almost daily wear and was exposed to everything from car repairs to dog baths, long hikes with fishing trips, camping, home repairs, the occasional cannon-ball and many nights sipping whiskey over cards. It’s protected my watch flawlessly and looked good doing it. Weekly-ish care routine was a quick scrub and wipe down with dish soap. It definitely punches above its price point

I must say, this band grew on me and now I wear it a lot. Initially, due to it being a one piece rigid strap with a tight enclosure for the watch, it had too much pressure on the buttons or screen and random watch activities would pop up or the screen when idle would dim but only by 50% like it froze. I was ready to return it but I desperately gave the enclosure a good pull and stretch a few times and it loosened up just enough to fit well but not super snug. Minimalists would want to avoid because it will make your Apple Watch look pretty big and bulky. However, anyone thats wants protection with an awesome rugged look should definitely consider it. Oh, and probably stretch it out first a bit.

So there’s a reason they usually give you two tempered glass screens when you buy them — in case you screw up the first time for some reason. However, this product only comes with ONE screen, so one chance to get it right. When I tell you everything that could have gone wrong applying a dang tempered glass to a watch went wrong, I mean it. The first application mostly went fine, but there was a small bit of dust that made it under the screen in spite of all my preparation, and when I tried to fix it, it just went downhill from there. Every time I tried to fix one problem, it just got worse and worse and worse. Incredibly frustrating, like infuriatingly frustrating. Like I’m upset enough at the experience to immediately leave a review and lower the star rating. In the end, it’s on there, but it looks like crap, and I’m gonna have to end up buying a new one, which is frustrating. It would have been nice to have had a backup just in case. It’s not hard to put on, but if you mess up, that’s it, you’re done. Don’t try to fix it. You have to buy a new one. I will say the band is nice, feels pretty good, has a nice texture, and was incredibly easy to pop my watch into. So the band is good, and I can’t in good conscience leave bad stars. But I explicitly bought this because it also had the glass with it. So I’m really frustrated.

I never write product reviews, but I was very impressed with the quality of this product. My Apple Watch Series 8 45mm snapped right into place and fits perfectly inside this watch case and band. The raised bezel protects the screen and the quality of the band and metal are superior. Gives it a rugged feel like an old Casio G Shock. If I had designed a case and band for this watch from scratch, this is exactly what I would have designed! Very happy with this purchase.

Comfortable to wear and fits the watch perfectly. I really wish it had TWO band straps, the one it has keeps moving on my and the band becomes loose. It's a nuisance but not enough to make me not wear this at all. If the manufacturer is reading this, please put a second band strap, thanks! :-)

I was a die-hard Catalyst watch case person. I went through 3 with my new SE Gen 2 apple watch, but they kept cracking on the sides. This case has outlasted all the Catalysts and then some. Doesn't work with glass screen protectors, only soft ones, which is okay. With the glass thicker protectors it makes the side button too tight to move forward/back.
