My unit proved defective and started overheating after 2 months. Lenz was very proactive with their customer service and gave me a full refund after they learned of my problem. This product is defective and almost ruined my car. I have only used it a handful of times and every time my Tesla would stop charging because it was “overheated”. I had a company come to check the wiring of my charging station multiple times only to find out that it was coming from this DEFECTIVE adapter. Now that I have figured this out, it is past the return policy. I’m so upset that I can’t return it to get my money back when it has only done damage and cost me multiple visits from the electrician. I spent almost the same amount on a new adapter through the Tesla website and can finally use my charging station in peace. The only reason I initially bought it through Amazon and not Tesla was due to delivery speed. That was a huge mistake! I ended up receiving an authentic one through Tesla within a couple days.
