First what you need to know before ordering. The unit is completely disassembled. There are holes that need to be drilled and the pieces snap together very firmly. You need a drill and a substantial soft head mallet to be able to put it together. Lacking those, you won't be able to do it.One ding for that. Once that's past, it's a pretty nice unit. It's wood looking (but wouldn't fool anyone) and nice enough in appearance. It's quite sturdy and the steps are textured to be slip free. And being all plastic, you needn't worry about wet wood rotting over time. Once you've gotten past the tool requirements for assembly, I think it's a decent deal for the price. ... show more

I purchase two sets of the stairs The first one went together, relatively easy except for the bottom star, needing some force to get it into the groove The second set of stairs was absolutely impossible to assemble the bottom stair wouldn’t go into the groove and actually wound up, cracking it as I was trying to push it in and maneuver it with a rubber mallet Let me be clear that I am an aerospace manufacturing operations manager, and understand how things go together. Trust me on this review I contacted the customer and they sent me a new stair very fast so their customer service did a good job ... show more

I bought two of these as steps for my senior dog to get up on the bed and on his favorite window seat in the office. They're perfect. Sturdy, well made, easy to put together, and the perfect size for a stubborn dog who would go around the narrower steps I tried using. Lol
