This charger demonstrates how fast the technology has advanced with EV chargers. It looks allot like charger that came with my Fiat 500e. This charger is a level 2 charger controlled by a micro chip with variable Amp level up to 30amps. For example my 220 outlet is rated for 30amps, so this fantastic charger charges my car very fast. If you have a 220 outlet at less than 30amps it will charge your car based on the rated amps for your circuit. This charger has a fault detector, and charge conditioner. So I got this about two months ago and I can definitely say that I am getting the full 30+ Amps that it advertises. I was very tired of having to plug in and wait all night and sometimes a full 24 hours to recharge my Toyota. My normal weeky charge use is 30% and that's about 2 hours. And a 70% recharge in about 9 hours. I really like that I didn't have to get a special outlet installed to use it. Would recommend. ... show more

    • Stopped Charging
I’ve hadthisn240 charger for 5 months and it’s worked great, then the past month it wouldn’t top off the charge. Then the top off went to 50% range and it won’t charge. I plug it in and it goes from 0 amps to 9/12/17/22/27/32/35/37 amps then shuts down. Repeats the process again and shuts down. My Honda Clarity only accepts 30amps. For 5 months it would charge at 29/30 amps. And this Charger would stay there just fine. It doesn’t matter the outside temperature, it won’t charge. I’ll have to run it from zero range on the car and see if the Charger responds. My car charges fine on a ChargePoint or the OEM 120/240 ... show more

This charger kept tripping my breaker and eventually caused my house to lose power for a day. It draws more than 30 amps (despite what title says). If you’re like me and you are unable to hardwire a charger or have an electrician install a outlet in your garage, beware. Do not get this if you’re using a 30 amp dryer outlet. ... show more
