I am writing this review after 1.5 years of owning this charger. I bought/installed this in September of 2021 and honestly it worked very well and easy to use and install but recently I am running into an issue where it no longer charges my car consistently and sometimes not at all. My vehicle recently had it's 15,000 mile appointment and dealership said no issues with the vehicle itself. The inconsistent charging is a major issue for me as I use my vehicle daily for work and it's frustrating going out to my car in the morning to realize it never charged. Giving the charger a 3 star for this reason as I feel this charger should last much longer than 1.5 years. Have reached out to the manufacturer to check on warranty for this product so we will see if it goes anywhere. My opinion is I would look elsewhere for a charger, which I am again and won't be repurchasing this one. ... show more

I purchased this charger this past May and in October a glitch occurred and the unit while still charging properly stopped communicating with my vehicle. I wrote Lefanev and they promptly acknowledged that the unit was under warranty and they would do whatever they needed to insure I was satisfied. After forwarding pictures of the messages indicating the failure they coordinated for return of the defective unit. I sent them the tracking number for the return and without waiting to receive it, they sent the replacement unit. They received the defective unit on Friday and I received the replacement unit the following Monday thus I was without my charger for less than a week. We exchanged numerous emails as we coordinated the replacement and they always responded within 24 hours. They were a great merchant that stood behind their product. Thanks. ... show more

I purchased this Level 2 charger for my Plug-in Hybrid. At first I opted to just charge my vehicle with the included 110v charger that came with my vehicle instead of just buying one before I took delivery of my vehicle. So glad I did because my new car has an app that tells me about the charging and how long it will take to charge, which means I do not need a Level 2 charger with WiFi. Why spend the extra money if I don't need to do so. Enter the LEFANEV 32A 7.68KW EV Charger Level 2 Station, for the price I paid it was totally worth it and I would recommend this Level 2 charger to anyone with a plug-in hybrid that does not know where to look first. Just make sure you know how many amps your car does accept, my car takes 32amps (32a). I believe this charger is an Outstanding Value for what you need in a Level 2 charger! ... show more

I have had this charger for nearly a year. It worked flawlessly forb11 months, then it started to get stuck on waiting for car signal. I contacted the seller, they were quick to respond and sent a replacement quickly. When they say 12 month warranty, then mean it. It was 11 months in and they happily replaced the charger (after sending the broken one back). I highly recommend this charger. Got this off Amazon as it was well priced over other Chinese sites. First thing I did was remove the US Power plug and Charge Cable and replaced the Charge Cable with a Type-2 that came with the car (Peugeot 208e GT) - Amazon don't sell these for outside-of-USA cables (Type-2 required for rest of the world). Installed this self and, although not an electrician, I am a clever chap. Had to swap out the main garage 32a circuit breaker for a 40a and add a dedicated circuit breaker for the charger. I had some concerns over this being completely water-proof so ended up using silicone to seal the main cover before mounting it outside (there is no rubber seal). Overall, pretty happy with the charge-rate and it performs as advertised and made a difference from 20-hours to charge (with car-supplied domestic charger) down to 2.5-hours (both roughly 150KM to 350KM full charge). Definitely recommend this product. ... show more

Sure, I had to hire an electrician for the installation, but it was worth it. My car charges in under 3 hours now, even if it needs full charging. It would take 12 hours or more when I used the 110 volt trickle charger that came with the car. My range anxiety is greatly reduced. The media could not be loaded. Installation couldn't be easier. I quick-mounted a board in a convenient location with some wood screws. I then used the included template to figure out exactly where I wanted it and then drilled the holes. Unscrew the charger from the back plate, mount the plate with the included wood screws and then return the machine screws to their holes to lock the charger to the mounting plate. Plug it in. With someone to hold the charger up while I screwed in the machine screws, I was done in 40 minutes. Using this is super easy. Push the button on the front, plug the other end into the vehicle. You get a cool LED animation and a readout of the tech details if you need them. Sure, there's no advanced features like a mobile phone app, or tying in to your WiFi network but I don't need those things. Every EV I've encountered has a mobile app, so the vehicle will let you know when it's full. When you're done, disconnect then push the button to turn it off. Cords are very thick and flexible enough for most needs. The unit is surprisingly small, but has a heft to it. Everything fits together snugly and seems well made. There's a rubber cap on the end of the J1772 plug, if you're worried about water getting into the socket. For the price I paid, this unit is great. ... show more
