The 15 amp, regular wall outlet wire, is a great tool for home and travel. It is far superior to Tesla's, which only puts out 12 amps. Tesla's plug comes apart, and many times just stops. Someone can also take the lower half. This one never stops working. It is one solid wire which usually gives you 6 miles per hour in a Y. Once locked into your Tesla, no one can come and take it away. It works at anyone's home, and it works all over the place at any open outlet. If you start to really look, open your eyes, you will find open outlets all over the place. In front of office buildings, hotels, in parking garages, and even in parks, and so many lampposts. Charge up while on a hike or walk in towns. No one has ever said a word. Never install your front plate, and back up in spaces close to the wall. It is a fabulous tool. Enjoy free power while the polluters pay for gas. You need this one.

I got this for my 2019 LR rear drive type 3 and also use it for my type 3 2023 performance to charge over 32amps and not have the heat restrictions like the Tesla charger. Both have the three internal 16 amp chargers and most Teslas have only 2 making this regulator max at 32 amps. It works great and charges fast. If it is not charging for a while, it will error and you have to power cycle it. Kind of a bummer, but worth the 23% faster charging. See pic about the error. You just have to pull it and plug back in. And that is annoying, right? Finally I got tired of the error and they sent me a new one for free under warranty and it works perfectly at 40 amps.

This is a fantastic charger for my Tesla. Average charge is around 36 miles an hour at 40A. I gave it 4 stars only because I received a used and damaged Lectron charger. Amazon was great with sending me a replacement. The replacement works perfectly. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a charger.

Well, I guess I’m screwed. Their return window is 30 days. It worked great for 30 days. Now it can’t charge more than 2% without the piece of crap malfunctioning and overheating. I have friends with Tesla’s and have used their outlets also. I must have gotten a lemon because mine cannot handle a charging session more than 10 to 15 minutes before my Tesla app screams at me to check my equipment failure. Hopeful that someone will offer a replacement so I can continue using it. Extremely disappointed and frustrating when you charge at night go to sleep wake up and it’s charge 20% instead of 80%.

Faster than the factory Tesla Mobile Charger. It comes with a nice carrying case and includes a wall mount with mounting hardware. It feels very heavy duty and the thicker cable is very obvious compared to the factory Tesla mobile connector cable. Performa as advertised at the full 40 amp rating and peaks at 9 kilowatts resulting in faster charging compared to Tesla's mobile connector. Tesla mobile connector peaks at a mere 32 amps and reaches 7 kilowatts. At 45% state of charge, it will reach 80% a full 45 minutes quicker which is huge plus
