  • Great for Ioniq 5
I have a 2026 Ioniq 5. I tried the NASC 1772 model and it wouldn’t charge. I ordered this “Tesla” model after reading a review that mentioned a previous model (2025 I believe) worked. It do s work flawlessly.

  • It works for Tesla and Hyunda Ioniq 5 newer model.
Excellent build quality sets it apart from other third-party chargers by a few degrees. High-quality components include the integrated indication matrix, control module, cable insulation, and indicator lights. The NACS Tesla connector makes it thinner and lighter than typical chargers. The unit weighs only five pounds with the carrying case. Compared to standard home appliances, EV chargers can be a little more stressful on your outlets. This charger features an app that functions properly and provides me with charging statistics, such as power and current draw. Although it does not connect with an app, I do not need to operate the charger remotely when charging at home. You do not have to spend more for a charger with a remote control if you already have the Hyundai car app, which allows us to start, stop, and monitor the charge. I am starting to notice issues now that it is cold outside. For example, my car stopped charging the other day because there was power coming from the outlet but not from the car itself. This indicates that there is a problem with the charger, and the only way to fix it is to unplug it for ten seconds and then plug it back in. Both the charger and the wire are properly constructed and connected. The charger is compatible with our current wiring and plugs in. firmly attaches to our Leaf and charges it at a speed of roughly five miles per hour. I am really pleased with this charger. Additionally, it is far faster than a typical outlet and significantly less. EV chargers can put a little more strain on your outlets than regular household equipment. The app on this charger works well and gives me charging statistics like power and current draw. When charging at home, I do not have to control the charger remotely even though it does not link to an app. If you already have the Hyundai car app, which lets us start, stop, and monitor the charge, you do not need to pay extra for a charger with a remote control. Now that it is chilly outside, I am beginning to see problems. For instance, the power coming from the outlet but not from the car itself caused my car to cease charging the other day. This suggests that the charger is having issues, and the only solution is to unplug it for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. The wire and the charger are both built and linked correctly. The charger plugs in and works with our existing wire. securely fastens itself to our Leaf and charges it at about five miles per hour. I am quite happy with this charger. ... show more

  • Satisfied with the charger.
Most garage outlets may be reached with the 16-foot cord without the need for an extension. The connector firmly locks into the car's charge port, and the cable has a supple yet sturdy feel. Overall build quality feels sturdy, and the weather-resistant design makes it appropriate for sporadic outside use. Setting up a NEMA 5-15 outlet at 15 amps is easy. Charging starts immediately when you connect it to the car's NACS charge connector and plug it into a grounded domestic outlet. It is dependable yet slow, as would be expected with Level 1 charging. It adds a comfortable amount of usable range by morning for daily commute where the car is left overnight. An additional useful monitoring option is provided by the WiFi feature. You can see charging status and basic session details from a distance using the companion app. Particularly during longer charging sessions, it is useful to observe progress without having to walk to the garage. Compared to ordinary household appliances, EV chargers may somewhat tax your outlets. This charger's app functions nicely and provides me with charging data, including power and current draw. Even though the charger does not connect to an app, I do not need to operate it remotely when I am charging at home. You do not need to spend more for a charger with a remote control if you already have the Hyundai car app, which allows us to start, stop, and monitor the charge. • Solid portable EV charger with good build quality and minor cold-weather quirk
The overall construction feels premium. The housing, cable insulation, indicator lights, and integrated display all appear well made. The NACS connector design keeps it slimmer and lighter than many bulkier third-party chargers, and at around five pounds with the carrying case, it is easy to transport and store. Charging performance is consistent for a Level 1 setup. It connects securely and delivers roughly five miles of range per hour, which is typical for 120V charging and works well for overnight top-offs. The cable feels durable and attaches firmly to the vehicle without looseness. The app provides useful charging data such as current draw and power usage. That said, remote control functionality is not essential if the vehicle’s own app already allows starting and stopping sessions. For home use, simple plug-and-charge operation is often enough. One issue has shown up in colder weather. On occasion, the unit appears to have power from the outlet but does not deliver charge to the vehicle until it is unplugged and reset for about ten seconds. After reconnecting, it resumes charging normally. It is not a constant problem, but it is worth noting. Overall, this is a well built, lightweight charger that performs reliably for standard home charging. Aside from the occasional reset in cold conditions, it provides solid value and dependable performance. ... show more
