  • Great solution for a more permanet home charger.
Size: for Tesla Models
Dialed it down to 40 AMP due to its connection with Nema 1450. But 40 amp is plenty of power to charge my Tesla Y from 60 percent or so to 80 percent in less than 3 hours during off peak hours. Cables feel durable and strong. Big question is to see how long it lasts. but so far so good

  • The Title is misleading: You can only use 40 amps.
Size: for Tesla Models
You can't get 48 amps on a 50 amp breaker, which is what NEMA 14-50 uses. You can use up to 80% of the amps, so 50 gets you 40 amps. I don't own this, so don't go by my rating (Amazon requires one.)
