I got rid of all my non-stick pans and pot and replaced them all with Le Creuset to minimize harmful chemicals in our food. I have their dutch oven, braiser, skillets in multiple sizes. The only downside of the ceramic coated cast iron pans is that it's still hard to cook egg and fish without adding a ton of oil. So I decided that I still need at least one non-stick pan for eggs and fish. This is the only non-stick pan I have and it has performed very well. Easy to clean, heats evenly, very easy to cook with and the size is perfect for a quick egg dish or fish. A quick wipe and rinse with warm water and that's it. ... show more

Good quality pan indeed. This is a higher maintenance product if you want it to last long. My only advice to owners is to make sure it is clean thoroughly with a soft sponge and non abrasive cleaner until all food residue is completely wiped out. Do not let it sit overnight and do not overheat it. My first two I owned I treated more like a cast iron and I paid the price. Overtime, once fried food gets embedded in the non stick, it's game over. Right now I owe three separate units and keeping them in top shape, it's a very worthwhile effort for an excellent stove top non-stick experience. ... show more

Yep I didn't think it would be. But my my husband is right (in this case), you get what you pay for. The heat radiates evenly. There is no chipping of the Teflon...at all. It is a perfect today as it 8 months ago when I bought it. And my husband, former professional chef - current food enthusiast, wants more. I'll check back. This is a very nice non-stick pan, but I have no idea why both the Amazon product page and the booklet that comes with it say you can use metal utensils. I was skeptical but went ahead and tried it just once and pretty gently, and there were the scratches. I was able to exchange and now I plan to use it like any other non-stick pan: with plastic or wooden cooking tools only. ... show more
