Features

  • Made in America: Cast, machined, and seasoned in Pennsylvania. The Lancaster No. 8 is our 10.5 inch skillet. It is the lightest iron pan of its size
  • Lightweight: Weighing in right around 4 lbs, we designed the Lancaster for a more enjoyable cooking experience. Along with being easier to move around the kitchen, your skillet is designed to respond to heat more quickly, allowing you to have more control, while still featuring the heat retention of cast iron cookware.
  • Heirloom Quality: Machined for a smooth surface and enjoyable cooking experience - just like Griswolds and Wagners of old
  • Traditional Handle and Pour Spouts: Our handle is a classic design, being both ergonomic, and easy. Pour spouts are a traditional aspect of American cast iron cookware and are essential for making and serving your favorite sauces
  • Any Heat Source: Use on almost all heating sources including gas, induction, electric, campfire, oven, or grill. Perfect for in the home, at the campground, or on the BBQ

  • Best Cast iron skillet
beautiful looking and lighter than most cast iron skillets. Triple seasoned so it's ready to go

  • Great skillet
I love this pan already. I have had it for only a few days, but I have used it multiple times. It has a super smooth finish. It is easy to clean. It stays hot. It heats evenly. I have fried vegetables, reheated leftovers, and made a roux. After I wash it with soapy water, I dry it, then wipe a light coat of oil on it. ... show more

  • Beautiful Cast Iron Pan
This is a beautiful pan. It’s lightweight compared to a standard cast iron skillet of this size. Lovely design on the bottom that makes me happy. Cooking performance is excellent. No issues with the factory seasoning. It’s an expensive pan, but it works well and makes me smile and think happy thoughts when I see it. ... show more

  • Gorgeous cast iron pan
What a beautiful pan. Love the embossing on the back. It's light. It's smooth. It's really a perfect cast iron pan. Highly recommend.

  • The Cast Iron Skillet you should own!
Excellent cast iron skillet, and a promotion from the Lodge version. When I purchased this skillet I also bought Lancaster's seasoning oil. Before using it I seasoned it 4 or 5 times in a 450 degree oven. After a few uses, I seasoned it several more times and it has now reached non-stick status. It's an excellent skillet for getting the perfect sear on your steak before finishing it in the oven, and it is wonderful for making such things as caramelised onions, and just all-around a good skillet. I had trouble getting the Lodge to be nonstick because the surface is not polished smooth as with the Lancaster. ... show more

  • Awesome pan!
This is an excellent pan. It's also very nice looking. It is smooth enough to use on our induction stove top. My wife says it is an awesome pan.

  • An Upgrade Worth the Money
Very happy with this pan so far. It heats up faster and more evenly than my Lodge pans. It's much lighter than any cast iron I've used. The cooking surface is incredibly smooth. I've cooked steak, fish (no torn salmon skin!), veggies, and even eggs without any sticking woes. Some people have had issues seasoning the pan, but I've put a few layers of seasoning on it with no problems. If anything, I've found it easier to season than other pans. The factory seasoning came up way too easy (a steak pretty much stripped it down to metal), but the seasoning I put down myself is holding at least as well as it does on my Lodge. Overall, this pan is worth the extra money. ... show more
