This color is so hard to find in stores in my area. Get so many compliments on it. Covers grays decent. This dye doesn’t cause scalp flaking like Excellence does but the conditioner in Excellence is better than Preference.

I bought this color since it seemed to be the best color I've seen for me. I've been various shades of red and thought its time for a change up! Happend on this L'Oreal brand, which is the only kind I use, and the color shown was intriguing. So I tried and and THE COLOR TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE TO IT'S ADVERTISEMENT.. and the BEST color I could have imagined. The redish/brown is just right mix! Perfect. If you're a wanna be redhead but can't see exactly what you would look like, and provided your own hair is at least a shade of med brown, as mine has been. Then this shade is for you. Try it, you won't be dissapointed.

Fantastic! This smells like any other at-home color kit - not pleasant; however, the conditioner smells great! I will say that I had medium brown hair and used this hoping for red and it’s not anything like it says on the box. After reading reviews that said it pretty much is mostly brown with a hint of red, I went with it (as I didn’t want fire engine red hair). If you have blonde hair, I could see this ending up much more red, but for already brown hair, it’s going to add more of a red tint than actually change the color to red. I have shoulder length decently thick hair and used almost the whole bottle. Easy to apply, not super drippy, and it came out awesome! Love it!

This color does not fade at least not on me, and I only do it every 4 or5 months. I love the way it colors my grey and makes it look lighter than the rest of my hair. I get so many complements on my hair. Best of all it does not dry out my hair mind you I don't use cheap shampoo and I have long hair, but it saves me money even though my sister does it for me. If you have long hair or want a great job done in the back you need help.
