It took my husband and I less than an hour to stack our LG electric dryer on our LG front-loader, purchased as a set about 8 months ago for our first level laundry room. Before that, we had always owned top loaders. I had assumed that getting them to stack required a specialty washer/dryer set. So when I was doing some research on how to gain back some floor space, I found out about the KSTK1 stacking kit. LG website has a super 1.5 minute video with instructions on how to install. Search for “Stacking” under Video Tutorials on their website. The kit itself is very easy to install. That being said, like other reviewers have written, you must have 2 relatively strong adults able to lift the dryer above waist level. The hour we spent also included searching through drawers to find the original wrench to adjust the feet on the washer, leveling the stacked unit, reattaching the flex vent, vacuuming the vent and putting tools away. Yes, the dryer is quite high when stacked. Not a problem for me—I actually like it better because I don’t have to bend over to make sure I’ve reached all the socks. The best part is I’ve gained floor space for my rolling sorter. Nice! ... show more
