I liked the size. It's 2 gallons and my Betta has plenty of swimming room. It also comes with a filter pump which helps keep the water clean. It says to change the filter every 3 months but it really needs to be changed every month. Clean and change water every two weeks.

I specifically ordered the tank in description because my daughter has the same tank. I wanted both children to have the same one, so I only had to purchase one kind of filter. The tank sent to me was not the one in description. It is 4.5 gallon and completely different filter. The description also indicated it came with a year supply of filters.     • DEAD FISH
There are several things I didn't like about this tank before my fish died in the filter. First, the tank was cloudy, it seemed like the filter didn't circulate and filter the water efficiently. I have checked the water several times and it has been within acceptable levels. Second, the lights are dim and didn't light the tank up well. I had to use a flashlight to see in there. Let me just say starting a new tank is scary with the market today. Def let it run with the water condition for 24 hours- like any tank should I have about has it with tanks lately. Biorb was heavy maintaince and just doesn’t fit anywhere. ( very loud) This was perfect!! My beta loves it! I def recommend. Tank was clean and instructions were well written! ... show more

Easy to assemble, quiet, and still clean after a month. I highly recommend this fish tank for beginners, young people, and anyone who wants to add some life and color to their home.

My 13 year old used a gift card from Xmas to purchase and bought it because it came with 12 filter cartridges. Only 6 arrived. Not what you pay for and she’s bummed. The tank itself is a good size. Working on setting it up and will post another review. Just know you do not get 12 cartridges. Edited: light no longer works. DO NOT BUY! ... show more

This this was great! Perfect for our new beta fish, got it all set up, think we finally got our gosh comfortable after about three days, and the light piece stops working! After three days! Super bummed, especially after all the work we put into getting it set up. Not sure my beta (or my 4 year old) could handle starting all over again or I would certainly be sending back! ... show more
