This product is life changing! I read the reviews but wanted to try it anyway and I’m so glad I did. I already ordered a second one and will be getting more for my other tanks. This works great if you have enough air pressure to pull it. I have 2 of these in a 125 gallon with 2 Oscars and other fish. The tank has white sand so I was cleaning out oscar poop daily before this. Now when I get up my sand is still white and all the Oscar poop inside these! Other then the complex assembly and disassembly of the inner compartment, it does a good job suctioning my fish’s poo… it’s cheaply made, but I’m happy.

    • Works well. Fan stops working though
This item does do as I tended only issue is as time goes say two to three days then the fan on top stops working. Other than that it does suck up poop and old food that hits the bottom

    • This thing is AWESOME!!
First things first: for this thing to work well, you need a strong air pump! When I first got it I hooked it up to a dedicated air pump, but it wasn’t strong enough to move the impeller fast enough to create any suction. Swapped in a Tetra 60 and this thing is basically a constant poop siphon. Does a great job helping clean up after my giant clan of Goldfish, who eat 3 times a day. The media could not be loaded. Fan assembly was broken letting air out before getting to the air stone which turns the fan and sucks up poop. The product was also clearly used. There were finger prints and dust all over it and it smelled awful, like it was already full of fish poop.
