This guarantee is valid only under normal operating conditions for which the unit is intended. I have owned several UV lights for my fish tank. This one works well, was the easiest to mount due to its shape and although time will tell, I expect it to last a good long while. Cleared my 75 gallon tank right up! I had 8 fat goldfish in this tank with a Fluval 407 and the water was a constant cloudy green. Invested in this and everything has been great since!

Even though I was unfortunately unable to use the Fluval In-Line UVC Clarifier due to compatibility issues with my setup, I still wanted to leave a positive review based on the product’s design, quality, and reputation. When I first received it, I was impressed with how well-made and compact it is. The materials feel durable, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I’ve read so many positive experiences from other aquarium owners who saw dramatic improvements in water clarity after installing this unit, which was the main reason I purchased it. Unfortunately, my filter hoses were not the right size for this particular model, so I couldn’t install it on my system. That’s my own oversight, not a fault of the product itself. If your setup is compatible, I have no doubt this clarifier would work well, especially for green water and cloudy water issues. Although I had to return it, I would still recommend it to other aquarium owners who want an easy, in-line solution for keeping their tanks clear. Just be sure to check your hose size before purchasing! ... show more

easy to attach, Im ready to invest in some very expensive fresh water fish. Trying to have the tank set, going to wait a couple weeks to purchase the fish (Discuss) Good investment for a 75-gallon tank.

No more smells. It reduced the fishy smell that came from the fish tank during 2 weeks cleaning schedule.

    • Did not work, and poor quality
Terrible product. Unfortunately I just wrote several paragraphs as to why this is the case, but I lost it all and now i am defeated. IN summary, I am an experienced Aquascaper running a 60p, and this light not only did nothing, but in fact my green water got worse while using it. Right there I would consider it a total failure, but there is more: The hose fittings are awful, there is no indication the light is actually even on, and the unit's threads are super soft and easily damaged (which happened). Again i wish i didnt loose all the details here but that is summary. Buyer beware. ... show more
