I use this on (2) 10 gallon tanks, one line for each. I run an airstone and a foam filter in each. It is more then strong enough for my purpose. It is in the living room and is very quiet with just a slight hum. I have it sitting on a foam pad. With the amount of noise in the living room I dont hear it at all. The knob that adjust the airflow does work but does not have a good feel. Its kind of hard to turn and has to be turned alot to make the airflow change. For my needs I turned it down a little and the airflow seems to stay at the flow I set it at. It comes with some air stones hoses and valves that work fine. Good for the price. ... show more

Overall, I’m really happy with this aquarium air pump. It works amazing and provides strong, consistent airflow for my tank. The output is very reliable, and it keeps the water well-oxygenated. A big plus is that it’s adjustable, which makes it easy to control the air output depending on the tank setup. It’s been running smoothly and does its job well. The only issue I’ve noticed is something other reviews mentioned as well—it tends to run hot. I measured the unit with a temperature gun and it reads around 100°F, which is warmer than I expected. It still works fine, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it over time. Aside from that, it’s a solid product and performs well for the price. The number on the bottom of the screen shows the highest temperature it read. ... show more

The dial doesn't seem to adjust airflow much, but it is powerful enough to run an air stone in my quarantine tank and the sponge filter in my 40 gallon tank with ease. Overall it's surprisingly fairly quiet, though I did also place it on a piece of quilt batting to muffle additional vibration for my own preference. I really appreciate that it came with the pieces to split/join hoses and especially the backflow valves because my kitten is a little turd who has knocked a previous pump into the tank (thankfully I heard it and was able to unplug it right away) and being able to place it safely below the tank inside a cabinet without fear of backflow is a huge relief. I'm quite happy with this, I didn't have huge hopes with the price point but it's been good so far. ... show more

So glad I found this air pump. The weight is not too heavy but isn't light enough to vibrate across the table. The adjustable dial rolls smoothly but isn't flimsy. I don't worry about the dial rolling on it's own due to vibration or lack of tension. The pump is not loud, The two outlets fit my "standard" line size and the nozzles are out enough to connect and disconnect air line. I had to fight to connect line to shorter nozzles only to have them eventually disconnect on their own because the lengh of connection area was simply too short. The price is fair. The product is good. The adjustable flow dial works great. I use the 100 gpm pump with two 3 way splitters to power 6 tanks - all without issue. I thought I would stop using my usb air pumps because the quality of them have drastically fallen. I am saving power, saving money over not having to repurchase those faulty mini usb air pumps and adjust the flow at the same time. Buy this pump, you'll like it. ... show more

I have this set for one item currently. Pump is louder than my old one but much more power. It has a low hum and placing it on a pad does not quiet it. However, I'm sure soon we won't even notice it.
