Very easy to install this shower head. I used an extension arm to the supply coming out of the wall. I did not want to plumb water into the attic space considering the possibility of freezing pipes. This shower head offers 2 GPM and is supplied with 1/2" water lines. The nozzles provide a very pleasant stream. This is not a drip but more of a steady stream from plenty of nozzles on the shower head. High quality finish matched our vibrant brushed nickle finishes on the rest of the shower heads and trim. The media could not be loaded. I replaced a Moen 7 inch rainfall head with this Kohler 10 inch head (2 GPM). However, I did remove the flow restrictor in the head before I installed it and the flow is AWESOME! I didn't even try it with the plastic restrictor in it knowing it would be LOW FLOW. The plastic restrictor must be installed by the manufacturer to meet guidelines, however there are no homeowner restrictions to remove this (unless maybe if you're in a condo or something with water usage rules). It is hard to pull out the restrictor with pliers as there is nothing to grab (by design of course to make it hard to remove). So don't waste time with pliers. Drill a small hole in the center of the plastic restrictor piece and use a hook & pick set ($10 on Amazon) to hook through the drilled hole and yank it out. You'll be glad you did! ... show more
