I have to be honest I was so excited to get this item because I love Mr. Kate. I ended up being really disappointed because my item came with a board with the holes drilled in the wrong place and is now going to take TWO WEEKS to replace. I live in a super small apartment so I don’t really have a place to store this while I wait for the new board so it’s kinda become really inconvenient.     • HORRIBLE and CHEAP! Would NOT RECOMMEND!

I was so excited to get this due to the look and size. However, the entire process was beyond disappointing- and took FOREVER due to having to keep ordering new pieces! Upon arrival majority of pieces were missing in package and the ones that did come were completely damaged! I literally had to reorder 10 new items on the first call and I had to contact the 3rd party company 3 times during the entire process due to hardware and wood pieces missing as it wasn’t obvious until you started building or would keep coming damaged! The pieces itself are completely cheaply made as paint chips off as you’re building it! It was so bad that I ordered a taupe paint marker due to it chipping as it was just sitting there. 3rd party company states you CANT return it in manual, so you’re forced to basically keep it-otherwise I would’ve returned entire product! When assembling it, pieces and hardware still did not fit correctly, so it was essential to go to Home Depot to continue buying hardware that would work. By first glance the stand itself looks nice but it’s a POS and not worth the hassle of building due to how cheap the products made. After completed the doors still aren’t right as they didn’t fit correctly. I also recommended to the company that they give the taupe console 3 more layers of paint if they’re even going to consider selling it. Overall I’d save yourself the trouble of buying or take off a 3 weeks of work to deal with building, re- ordering, and contacting customer service. ... show more

The stand was very difficult putting together by the directions, the wood is particle board in which the board split easily, also my doors came with the paint already chipped and looked used. Lastly the cabinet doors are not flushed as i adjusted the hinges multiple times and its still not closed properly. Definitely not worth what I paid for it. ... show more

I really like the design and tones of this console but it was very hard to assemble. It took my husband and me longer than what we expected. The final result is pretty but the packaging wasn’t strong enough for the delivery so some of the parts are damaged like the corners of the top wooden piece and the black doors have white scratched (I used a black sharpie to fix those). ... show more

I am a big Mr Kate fan which brought me to getting their product. This piece looks beautiful in my living room. The doors don't align properly and were hardest to put together. Consider getting help for assembling it.

I tried ordering this product 3 times because I really love the look and color. Each and every time it came damaged. Manufacturing facility really needs to work on there packaging because every time it arrived the styrofoam that was supposed to protect the piece was ripped to shreds and the box’s where all beat up. I thought maybe this was just from delivery but ordered from a different retailer the 3ed time and arrived damaged in the same area. Very disappointing because I really like the color and look in person. Can’t speak to assembly or durability because I never got that far. ... show more
