I ordered mystic silver. Its not silver. It's blue, in some spots it's green, and in some places it didn't take at all. I hate it.

As with many direct dyes, this colour can be diluted with white conditioner resulting in a softer silver result and less blue staining. If blue staining occurs, a dandruff shampoo containing zinc may be applied to the hair to encourage faster fading. I love this shade. It is inexpensive and lasts a long time in my hair. ... show more

I put this on dry hair, and added the last bit of my adore turquoise at the tips. I left the kiss dye in for about an hour, and rinsed the adore dye out of my tips after about 15 seconds. I used two bottles of platinum. The color came out a bit patchy on the underside of my hair. I washed and conditioned it after I rinsed it out. It will not take to my natural dark blonde roots, so it just kind of fades to this color and then to turquoise. I also ordered gunmetal to try, but I think I might stick with adore- it's really not that much more expensive, and seems to cover a lot better. ... show more

I'm lucky to get my hair done more than once a year. I have dark brown hair with highlights that get very brassy and the silver toner helps SO much! Results last 4-8 weeks and it definitely helps keep me going between appointments!

    • Great gray tint neutralized yellow tone!
Previously dyed hair maintained some yellow tone, even after professional bleaching. Didn't want more harsh chemicals on my hair. Tintation Mystic Silver did the job admirably. I'll never go back to a salon again. This is easy to use. Just follow the directions.
