  • Mediocre speeds
Color: Black Size: 64GB
Just an average usb drive. Pros: Cheap Cons: Cap is easy to lose, big and slow

  • Works as expected
Color: Metal Size: 128GB
For those interested in purchasing this flash drive, please look at the images that are posted below the item listing. You will get a better idea of how small this flash drive really is. Is it small? Short answer, yes! So unless you are going to attach this to a keychain or something, I recommend you hook a lanyard to it. This will avoid you loosing it. I am not a speed freak or really care of how fast this transfers data from point a to point b. For the purposes of this average Joe, it gets the job done. I purchased the 128gb model mainly just to have a backup of documents, and since I am not a regular writer or creator, this will do just fine. For students in school or college, you should be good to go. Something I did not like is how cheap this flash drive feels. It looks like this could break or come apart with the lightest hit. So I would recommend you be careful with this. Also, it does not light up like other flash drives in order to know that connection is successful or data is transferring. You will get this from how you have set up your connected device settings on your Mac or PC. Now, for those who are interested in knowing if Kingston is a recognized brand. It is. They make a great amount of great quality products that have garnered great praise from the tech community and YouTubers. ... show more

  • So far, so good
Color: Metal Size: 128GB
Good price for amount of memory. It's small which is good. The only drawback for me is that I like to keep it plugged into my computer and there's no place to keep the cap. Would be nice if the cap fit over the back end of the drive for safe storage.

  • Hmmm

  • Good product, fast speeds, would buy again.
Color: Black Size: 32GB
USB-C starting to be standard port on laptops so decided to try it out. Unit came in formatted FAT32 and wanted to do some large ISO file so went with NTFS and got over double the speed of your standard USB 2.0 saving over an hour of transfer time for a good 27GB of files/transfer. Very happy with item, and would buy again!! ... show more

  • SLOW! Just because it has a USB-C (USB 3.2) connector; does NOT mean its fast apparently!
Color: Black Size: 32GB
PRO: - Cheap USB 3.2 (USB-C) Thumb Drive from a reputable manufacturer. - Now can convert your ISO files and create USB-C boot drives. CON: -Even though it has a USB-C (USB 3.2) connector; doesn't mean its going to be fast... - Very slow. - Low quality flash cripples the performance. - I would not anticipate these lasting. Context: The USB-C interface provides connectivity to a hardware bus capable of high speed data transfer. However this device goes to show that an interface type CAPABLE of high rate transfer speeds doesn't mean that the manufacturer's hardware are going to take advantage of that CAPABILITY. This Kingston Flash Drive is super slow slow. I ran crystal disk against it and the fast write speed I got was 36MB/s. On par with USB 1.1 or 2.0 speeds. That's telling of the low quality flash memory Kingston is using making these. Very little likelihood that it is going to last. No where near the performance I get out of my older white Kingston Data Traveler 3.0 with the loop bottoms. I anticipated seeing from a thumb drive with the latest connection interface to bring next level performance. These were a let down. Based on the dismal throughput I would have been better off just getting more of the last Gen Kingston Data Travelers. This one was a miss. Even though the USB 3.0 drive has a lower ceiling; those units are able to significantly out perform these newer low quality models. I would love to see large scale manufacturer price per unit manufacturing cost. I would be shocked if the price per unit cost differences between low and high performance units were not negligible. However, something tells me manufacturers are willing to reduce performance to a third of what it could have been just to shave a few cents of the price per unit manufactured costs. ... show more

  • Very slow, even for $5
Color: Black Size: 64GB
10MB/s sustained write speeds. Did a check to confirm storage size and it is indeed an actual 64GB drive with 57GB of usable space. Write speeds at 10MB/s and read speeds at 90MB/s during test
