Got this last summer to dry out veggies and herbs. Hung it in the garage, which keeps it away from pests, but also made it handle to work with and the air is perfect! Could not believe how great the herbs dried. Haven't tried to many veggies, but the onions and potatoes turned out fine. There is a balancing act to make sure that you are blancing everything you put on it, but all it takes is a little practice and ingenuity. If you do not need total enclosure to protect your product from bugs these work great. We have used both kinds and find this product to be the best for us. It is stronger and does not sag in the center with the weight of wet product. It is easy to spread and stir the product. Pretty straight forward, it's a drying rack. It works really well if you are trimming green with a bowl trimmer. I imagine it would work well to dry before hand trimming also. Well made, easy to use, highly recommended. Folds up into a small storage bag when your done.

Much bigger and a bit unruly to deal with. I am still figuring out how to refold them after the sprung out of the carrying case. Also no instructions on how to clean them if they are encrusted with goo.
