Very fast write speeds of over 450MB/s when using SATA. However, the USB C connection isn't very fast at all seems more like USB 2.0 reading/writing and around 35MB/s. I recommend these if you want to save some money, but I'd definitely be wary of their longevity.

I replaced it with this one and set it up to dual boot Windows and Ubuntu. I have only used it for work related tasks, but so far I havent had any issues at all with it as the main drive. This product does what it is supposed to do. Provide additional storage very quickly at a reasonable price. I tested with one of the benchmark software. It does not compete with the more expensive SSD drives, but at its current cost, I can live with a 10 -15 % speed difference.
