I purchased this door lock over Yale and other premium brands due to the aesthetics and features it came with. For the first 6+ months, I was happy with my purchase. The app is a bit slow, and the finger prints reader isn't super responsive, but me and my wife both loved the lock. However, about 2 weeks ago, beginning of April, I twisted the door lock knob to unlock my front door and the knob came off. It seemed like a tiny magnet was missing. I tried my best to fix it and reattach the knob, but it would not stay on. So I reached out to Geonfino customer service center. They first responded right away. I asked them if they could send me a replacement as it is under 1 year warranty. I also asked them to ship it as soon as possible since we are not able to lock the front door from outside. We are currently using garage door to get in and out. They initially told me that the fastest shipping would take within 1-3 business days. I received an email from them on April 2nd, when they said they will notify me once the replacement is shipped. It's been more than a week and yet they still haven't sent me a notification nor any type of response. I was able to get a hold of them over a phone call and I was met with unprofessional female representative who was keep talking to someone next to her. She wasn't able to speak English very well and couldn't really understand what I was telling her. She said she will call me back the next day after talking with the manager. I haven't received a follow up call from her or from Geonfino. As of now, I am still with a broken front door lock that can only lock once you are inside. I am very dissatisfied with their product quality, and their poor customer service. I will see how they handle this matter and update my review. So for those who are considering this product as their front door lock, I ask you to think twice. And maybe invest a little more for well-known and reliable brands like "Yale" or "Kwik" locks.

I am generally satisfied with this lock. It's built sturdy and feels premium. Easy to physically setup and also with the app. I love the multiple ways to open the lock and all the features it gives. My main con about this is that it can only be locked if the auto-lock feature enabled, the key or the locking feature in the app. I have other smart locks and I can lock those by pressing a button on the keypad or by pulling the handle up instead of down. If this is included in a firmware update.... 5 stars easily. Update- I bought this for the 3rd third time. However with the last one, I hear some shaking in the out handle part. However I went ahead and installed it. After finishing I realized the physical key doesn't work, after a while, I pulled the lock apart to see broken plastic parts in the mechanism for the key to work. While everything else works, the physical key doesn't.

This product is ideally a really good product. I have bought this product line for 5 doors Nd refered to my friends. I really like ll it's features that it offers. I don't use all of them but it's nice to have. The problem with this product that it is hit or miss. Sometimes the product is good quality sometimes it's missing parts or some parts doesn't work however I made sure that I bought it on Amazon prime so that return and exchanges very good through Amazon customer service. I think I bought it because I know Amazon backs up the product and if there's anything that goes wrong Amazon will compensate me adequately. That's why I felt comfortable to keep calling back and then they keep sending me new ones or different ones as we try to figure out which one works but once they send me the right good quality product as it promised it works really nice. I think if this company quality checks their product before they send it out then it would be a really good doorknob. That's the only reason why it has three stars because I have to keep calling Amazon back to send me another product to replace their defect product. But I really like this product even though they keep sending me defected that's why I kept going back with them. So if you have the patience to 50% of the time receiving a defective product and then having to uninstall and reinstall a new one and going through the hassle of returning and exchange this is definitely for you. If you have patience. I have had multiple of this doorknob on different properties and it's really convenient and nice. When you have it fully functioning as it should. If they had better quality control before they release the product on Amazon I think this would be a really good hit product especially for its price

Purchased 1 in June. It worked great so we bought another one in July. Sine then we have been having more and more problems. Finger print hardly ever works and the keypad is glitchy as well. We have tried multiple finger prints and codes but it is not a reliable product.

I’ve been using this product for four months, and overall, it performs well. The fingerprint stopped working, I have 2 more issues First, the battery life is disappointing—it lasted less than a month before needing a replacement or recharge. This is inconvenient, especially for a product marketed as reliable. Second, while the device does have a battery level notification feature, it’s locked behind a paid membership. This feels restrictive and unnecessary, as it’s a basic function that should be included with the product. I tried to reach out to the manufacturer asking for technical support but I didn’t get any response 🙁😡😡
